Lilynette Gingerbuck is a female Arrancar in the anime and manga series BLEACH. While initially introduced as the sole Fracción of the 1st Espada, Coyote Starrk, she is in truth the second half of his split soul. Appearance
Lilynette has short green hair, pink eyes, and a petite stature. She wears the remains of a helmet-like Hollow mask equipped with horns, though the horn on her left side is broken. Her Hollow hole is situated on her abdomen. Her attire features a chest-exposing sleeveless top paired with short pants, leaving her shoulders exposed.
Personality
In contrast to the notoriously lazy Starrk, Lilynette possesses a rough, energetic, and tomboyish personality. She frequently acts as a boisterous foil, physically abusing Starrk to force him to take his duties seriously. Despite her abrasive behavior, she cares deeply for Starrk, and her inner kindness is occasionally demonstrated through her concern for opponents such as Shunsui Kyoraku.
Abilities
As an individual combatant, her strength is minimal, falling below that of a Gillian-class Menos Grande. She fights using a curved blade drawn from the broken left horn of her mask and is capable of firing a weak Cero. During Starrk's Resurrección, Los Lobos, she merges into his body and transforms into a pair of dual pistols. In gun form, she maintains her consciousness, retaining the ability to speak and feel pain. She can also reshape herself into a pack of spirit wolves that bite targets and self-detonate with high destructive force.
Background
Lilynette was originally part of a single Hollow with Coyote Starrk. Because their overwhelming spiritual pressure instantly killed any Hollows near them, they suffered from profound solitude. To escape this crushing isolation, the original entity split its soul and power into two separate beings, leaving it ambiguous which of them was the primary self. During the battle in Fake Karakura Town, she fought alongside Starrk in her transformed state, but was destroyed when her spirit wolf manifestations were entirely wiped out.
Relationships
Coyote Starrk is her other half and soul partner. Although she constantly scolds him for his apathy, the two share an extraordinarily deep emotional bond. During the battle in Fake Karakura Town, she also displays unexpected concern toward Shunsui Kyoraku, the Gotei 13 Captain facing them in combat.
Trivia
Due to her transformation into Starrk's weapons and specific narrative details, readers have long theorized that Lilynette may have originally been the main soul who relinquished her power to create Starrk, effectively reducing herself to his Zanpakutō-like companion.
