Appearance
Menoly is a female Arrancar characterized by short blonde hair and green eyes. The remnant of her Hollow mask covers the area surrounding her right eye, creating a symmetrical contrast with Loly Aivirrne's mask fragment over her left eye. Around her neck, she wears a white choker accessory.
Personality
While Menoly harbors envy toward Orihime Inoue due to the attention shown to her by Sosuke Aizen, she is considerably more pragmatic and cautious than the aggressive Loly Aivirrne. After being revived by Orihime, she experiences a mixture of fear and gratitude, actively discouraging further hostility and trying to avoid interaction. However, her timid disposition leaves her unable to stop her partner's wild behavior, repeatedly resulting in severe misfortune.
Abilities
As Arrancar No. 34 among the Numeros, Menoly wields spiritual capability suited to her rank. During the invasion by the Wandenreich, she carries and draws her Zanpakuto to enter combat against enemies, though she is never depicted utilizing her Resurreccion form.
Background
During the Hueco Mundo arc, Menoly was killed when Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez blasted her with a Cero while she was present during Loly Aivirrne's assault on Orihime Inoue. She was subsequently brought back to life through Orihime's Soten Kisshun power. She later suffered further injury in a confrontation involving Yammy. In the Thousand-Year Blood War arc, she was quickly defeated by Quilge Opie of the Wandenreich, but survived through medical treatment from Roka Paramia, eventually becoming a subordinate to Rudbornn Chelute.
Relationships
Menoly acts constantly alongside Loly Aivirrne, serving as a companion who is regularly dragged into her partner's reckless endeavors. She reveres Sosuke Aizen as her commander. Though initially hostile to Orihime Inoue, being resurrected by her caused Menoly to view her with fear and prefer distance. In combat, she has been severely overwhelmed by powerful figures such as Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez, Yammy, and Quilge Opie. Following her recovery by Roka Paramia, she serves under the command of Rudbornn Chelute.
Trivia
Menoly Mallia's visual design is specifically crafted to complement Loly Aivirrne, with her right-sided Hollow mask fragment mirroring Loly's left-sided fragment to form a symmetrical pair.
