Nakeem Grindina is a male Arrancar who stands 180 centimeters tall and weighs 295 kilograms, possessing a distinctly heavy and stout physique. He has hair cut in a short bowl style, and the right side of his face is covered by a remnant mask resembling a gorilla. This mask retains the exact appearance it had when he was a Gillian. Visually, he is characterized by a hunched posture while standing with his hands folded behind his back.

Before undergoing Arrancarization, he was a Gillian-class Menos who possessed an unusually strong individual consciousness.
Background
After evolving into an Arrancar from a self-aware Gillian, Nakeem Grindina joined the Fracción of the 6th Espada, Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez. He traveled to Karakura Town as part of Grimmjow's unauthorized invasion force, where he engaged 10th Division Lieutenant Rangiku Matsumoto in combat. Although he appeared to press the offensive against her, Rangiku was merely enduring his attacks while waiting for authorization to release her limiters. Once her power restriction (Gentei Kaijo) was approved, Nakeem was slain instantly by her released Zanpakutō, Haineko.
