Augusta

Overview

Augusta is a playable Electro Broadblade character in Wuthering Waves. She serves as the Ephor of Septimont within the Rinascita region, holding a legendary status as an undefeated champion of the arena. Originally born an ordinary girl, she rose through intense perseverance and combat prowess to become the fearlessly respected leader of her people, symbolizing resilience and triumph.

Appearance

Augusta is a woman with long, naturally curly red hair and red eyes. She wears a crown shaped like a burning sun on her head alongside refined golden armor decorated with lightning-like light. Her attire includes a cape, dress, waist belt, arm guards, rings, earrings, and high-heeled sandals. Her Tacet Mark is located on her right hand. During her past gladiator days, she wore a worn headband featuring traditional Septimont patterns.

Personality

She possesses a strong, straightforward disposition, scorning deception and valuing honesty in all motives. While commanding and bold in taking on heavy responsibilities, she treats defeated opponents with grace rather than cruelty. Beneath her stern public image, she displays a caring side, such as playing games with orphans and offering sweets to resting subordinates.

Abilities

Her Resonant Ability forms a magnetic field of roughly ten meters around herself, granting precise control over metals containing iron, cobalt, and nickel. She utilizes this magnetic power to gather the weapons of fallen gladiators around her broadblade, seamlessly wielding the combined heavy weapon without effort. In battle, she unleashes golden electricity and summons her griffon Echo, Griffex, to assist in combat.

Background

Born in the town of Fabianum, Augusta fled to Septimont after a devastating disaster sixteen years prior separated her from her childhood friend, Angel. Starting as a humble arena fighter, she gradually fought her way to prominence. After demonstrating her strength against the former leader Magno, she was entrusted with the title of Ephor, vowing to protect her people and their domain.

Relationships

She places immense faith in the Rover, acknowledging them as a true peer and hero of Septimont. She holds on to the hope of reuniting with her childhood friend, Angel. She shares a close connection with the Oracle Yuno, while keeping a watchful eye on young figures like the gladiator Lupa and Avidius.

Trivia
