Overview
Jianxin is a playable Aero-attribute Resonator in Wuthering Waves who serves as a poster girl at the Liuxian Teahouse in Jinzhou, Huanglong, while undergoing training. Raised in a secluded mountain monastery, she is the successor of the Fengyiquan martial arts style. Driven by a firm conviction to reach the pinnacle of martial arts, she has journeyed down the mountain to experience secular life and human nature while fighting with gauntlets.
Appearance
Jianxin has green eyes and black hair with white inner highlights styled into low twintails with a middle part, topped with a prominent ahoge. She wears earrings, an outfit exposing her armpits, asymmetrical gloves and boots, and carries gauntlets. Her Tacet Mark is situated on her left shoulder, extending toward the top of her left breast.
Personality
Naive, innocent, and pure-hearted, Jianxin possesses a gentle yet determined personality. She approaches life with absolute focus and sincerity, driven by a desire to help others and learn through hard work. While her lack of worldly experience can make her overly trusting, she is fiercely steadfast in her principles and will patiently lecture wrongdoers until they repent.
Abilities
Jianxin utilizes a nature-type Forte that harnesses Chi to manipulate ambient energy, forming protective barriers and purifying her surroundings. Combining Tai Chi with Fengyiquan, she delivers strikes capable of breaking the sound barrier. In combat, she can assume a stance to parry enemy hits and counter, pull targets into wind fields, and channel Chi to generate shields that restore allies' health.
Background
Abandoned in the wilderness as a child, Jianxin was taken in by Master Shiling and raised at a mountain monastery. After hitting a physical plateau in her training, advice from a passing monk named Rongfu inspired her to venture into the secular world to understand humanity. Learning to earn her own living through various odd jobs, she eventually traveled down the mountain to deepen her spiritual journey.
Relationships
She respects her mentors Shiling and Rongfu, following their guidance closely. She frequently spars with Yuanwu, who runs the opposing dojo, as well as Chixia, sharing a mutual passion for martial strength. Sanhua perceives her untainted nature as a golden soul. During her travels around Jinzhou, she collaborated with the Rover and Yangyang.
Trivia
Jianxin possesses the unusual skill of producing musical tones using her prominent ahoge like a reed pipe. She holds a fond fascination for discount coupons, viewing them as symbols of goodwill, and keeps them gathered in a dedicated holder. Despite her martial prowess, she is unused to modern technology, easily startled by sudden holographic displays.
