Calcharo is a muscular male with long silver hair, parted bangs, and blue eyes. His Tacet Mark is located directly on his forehead. While staying in Huanglong, he adopts a local combat outfit designed with decorative ribbons and printed patterns.

Stern, quiet, and deeply practical, Calcharo leaves an intimidating impression on everyone he meets. He approaches all matters through strict trade and calculation, refusing uncompensated work while cleverly charging minimal fees to the poor to establish valuable debts of favor. Beneath his calculating and cold exterior lies a fiercely protective leader who enforces strict rules to keep his crew safe and shows zero mercy toward anyone who dares to harm his people.
Abilities
Calcharo controls Electro energy to generate phantom shadows that perform coordinated strikes alongside his heavy Broadblade attacks. In combat, he executes rapid sword strikes and can stack energy to unleash powerful heavy hits. Activating his Resonance Liberation puts him into a specialized combat state where his basic attack changes to a fierce multi-stage chain and his evasive counters are empowered, allowing his summoned shadows to deal heavy Electro damage.
Background
Originating from the Lawless Zone, Calcharo gathered young youths around the age of twelve to form a gang called the Bad Dogs. After watching his companions fall victim to betrayal and violence, he realized that weakness would only lead to destruction. Re-emerging as the phantom-like leader of the Ghost Hounds, he absorbed his old faction and ended the chaos in the region. He later struck a deal with General Jiyan in Huanglong, helping clear threats in exchange for strategic trade opportunities.
Relationships
Calcharo maintains a pragmatic business relationship with Jiyan, the general of Jinzhou in Huanglong, agreeing to assist in combat efforts in exchange for local operational access. It was upon Jiyan's suggestion that Calcharo adapted to local customs and changed his attire. As leader of the Ghost Hounds, he views his crew members as his family, guarding them with strict rules and swift retribution against any outside threats.
Trivia
His name is thought to originate from a future tense form of the Italian verb 'calcare'. During the early closed beta tests of Wuthering Waves, his high damage output earned him the ironic community moniker 'Solaris' Strongest Resonator,' which later spawned numerous lighthearted fan memes. He remains one of the game's most popular male characters, having won community fan choice polls.
