Konan uses advanced paper-manipulation techniques derived from her talent for origami, including the Dance of the Shikigami, Paper Clone Technique, and Paper Shuriken. She can disassemble her body into countless sheets of paper for aerial reconnaissance, flight, physical restraint, and weapon creation. While her paper resists fire and water, it becomes ineffective when coated with sticky substances such as oil. Her most formidable preparation, the Paper God Person Technique, concealed six hundred billion explosive tags into a localized sea, triggering continuous detonations over ten minutes.
Background
After being orphaned during wartime in Amegakure, Konan survived alongside Yahiko and Nagato and trained under Jiraiya. The trio founded Akatsuki to promote non-violent resolution, but Yahiko's tragic demise pushed the group down a darker path. During the assault on Konoha, she guarded Nagato's true body. Following Nagato's change of heart and subsequent death, she abandoned Akatsuki and returned home. She ultimately fell in battle defending Nagato's Rinnegan against Tobi in Amegakure.
Relationships
Konan shared an unbreakable bond with Yahiko and Nagato, her childhood companions and fellow Akatsuki founders. As a former student of Jiraiya, she is the senior martial sister of Naruto Uzumaki, whom she eventually accepted as the ultimate beacon of hope. Within Akatsuki, she played an active role in recruiting operatives such as Sasori and Hidan. Conversely, she regarded Tobi as a manipulator and fought him in a fatal confrontation.

Her name was derived from Konan Shrine. Her personal hobbies include origami and collecting pressed flowers. Her favorite food is grilled fish, whereas she dislikes fried chicken.
