Overview

Naruko is the transformed female form assumed by Uzumaki Naruto using a specialized transformation technique in the series NARUTO. Occasionally referred to as Gal Naruto in broadcast credits, this form manifests primarily when Naruto uses his signature Sexy Jutsu. Serving mainly as a tactical gag transformation during specific situations rather than a permanent independent persona, this version of Naruto is voiced by a different cast member than the male counterpart in certain animated iterations.

Appearance

Naruko features long blonde hair worn in twintails, blue eyes, and retains the six whisker markings across her cheeks from Uzumaki Naruto's original facial features. She takes the shape of a voluptuous adult woman. In the original manga, she is fundamentally depicted without clothing while obscured by strategically placed puffs of smoke, whereas video games and newer animated versions depict her wearing swimsuits or revealing attire.

Personality

Operating under Uzumaki Naruto's conscious control, Naruko adopts a flirtatious and seductive demeanor designed to catch opponents off guard. She utilizes alluring gestures and provocative behavior to fluster her targets, demonstrating a mischievous approach tailored to disarming adult men.

Abilities

Naruko is generated through the Sexy Jutsu, a transformation technique that inflicts profound surprise and disorientation on susceptible targets, frequently causing severe nosebleeds and sudden fainting upon initial contact. When combined with the Shadow Clone Jutsu, it turns into the Harem Jutsu, generating multiple copies of Naruko simultaneously. Other variants include specialized forms like the Mushroom Harem Jutsu, alongside a male counter-variant known as the Reverse Harem Jutsu.

Background

Concocted by Uzumaki Naruto during his early years in the Hidden Leaf Village, this transformation was used early on to bypass various authority figures and security, directly aiding in tasks such as obtaining forbidden scrolls. The knowledge and execution of this unique transformation technique were subsequently passed down to Konohamaru Sarutobi and later utilized by Boruto Uzumaki.

Relationships

Naruko is an alternate form of Uzumaki Naruto. As a target of this transformation technique, characters such as Iruka Umino, Ebisu, Jiraiya, and the Third Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi have all been rendered helpless by its effects. It was also deployed against Kaguya Otsutsuki during the Fourth Great Ninja War. Naruto later taught the underlying technique to Konohamaru Sarutobi.

Trivia

In the end credits of the animated series, the character was initially listed under the label Gal Naruto before officially transitioning to the name Naruko. The name Naruko has since become the standard identifier for this female transformation across fan communities and image archives.
