Appearance
Pakura has dark hair styled in a high bun, complemented by distinct orange sideburns. Her ninja outfit features a sleeveless and backless design that leaves her shoulders and back exposed.
Personality
Pakura is fundamentally a caring and devoted teacher who deeply cherished her disciple Maki. However, suffering a deceptive betrayal and assassination by her own village leadership left her harboring intense bitterness, turning her into a vengeful force when brought back to life.
Abilities
She possesses the Scorch Release Kekkei Genkai, which merges Fire and Wind elements to produce persistent, high-heat fiery orbs of immense power. Contact with these floating orbs immediately evaporates all moisture inside an opponent's body, leaving them completely desiccated. Her technique can be countered by Water Release attacks.
Background
Officially believed to have died a heroic death fighting against Iwagakure, Pakura was actually sacrificed without her knowledge by Sunagakure's leaders as a political pawn in dealings with Kirigakure, leading to her secret assassination. During the Fourth Shinobi World War, she was resurrected via Impure World Reincarnation by Yakushi Kabuto, returning to the battlefield driven by a fierce desire for retribution.
Relationships
Pakura shared a close, nurturing bond with her young student Maki. During the war, Yakushi Kabuto revived and controlled Pakura, forcing her to confront her former disciple and the Allied Shinobi Forces.

A Jonin from Iwagakure who bears an uncanny physical resemblance to Pakura makes an appearance in both the animated feature film Naruto Shippuden the Movie: The Will of Fire and the television anime series.
