Overview
Samui is a female ninja from Kumogakure in the Naruto series. Holding the rank of Jonin, she serves as the leader of Team Samui, commanding her subordinates Omoi and Karui. Known for her detached and stoic demeanor, she is highly trusted by the Fourth Raikage for her ability to execute difficult missions with exceptional composure.
Appearance
She is a kunoichi characterized by short blonde hair styled in a bob cut and blue eyes. Distinctive for her exceptionally large bust, her signature outfit features a short-sleeved top that exposes her collarbone, a black skirt, and fishnet undershirts and tights.
Personality
She maintains an exceptionally calm and stoic demeanor regardless of the situation. When her subordinates Omoi and Karui get overly agitated or indulge in wild paranoia, she routinely reminds them to remain composed as shinobi. On a more practical note, her exceptionally large chest causes her to suffer from chronic shoulder stiffness.
Abilities
As a Jonin-level kunoichi of Kumogakure, she possesses solid combat capabilities and strong leadership qualities as a squad leader. The Fourth Raikage places high value on her steady judgment, frequently assigning her to sensitive information-gathering and courier missions.
Background
Under instructions from the Fourth Raikage, she traveled to Konohagakure to deliver official documentation regarding the pursuit of Sasuke Uchiha while gathering intelligence on him and the Akatsuki. During this operation, Yamato secretly attached a transmitter to her team, allowing Uzumaki Naruto and his companions to track them. During the Fourth Great Ninja War, she joined Darui's unit as reinforcement, but was sucked into the sacred treasure Benihisago alongside her brother by the Gold and Silver Brothers. She was safely freed after the war concluded.
Relationships
She leads a three-person squad consisting of her subordinates, Omoi and Karui. She is also the older sister of Atsui, a Chunin whose loud and hot-headed temperament directly contrasts with her own. The Fourth Raikage places immense trust in her professional discipline, and she works closely with fellow Kumogakure ninja such as Darui during wartime.
Trivia
Her name shares its spelling with the famous tropical destination of Koh Samui in Thailand. Additionally, due to her pronounced physical proportions in the series, readers frequently compare her figure and bust size to that of Tsunade.
