Glorio

Overview

Glorio is a major character in Dragon Ball Daima. He is a young Majin hailing from the Third Demon Realm who arrives before Son Goku (Mini) and the Supreme Kai (Mini) to take them to the Demon Realm under the pretext of overthrowing King Gomah.

Appearance

Glorio features light blue skin, gray hair, downturned gold eyes, and pointed ears. He carries a double-barreled ray gun as his personal firearm.

Personality

Glorio has a calm, reserved demeanor, though he can display a ruthless edge when dealing with threats due to his rough upbringing in the Third Demon Realm. Despite his stoic exterior, he is emotionally expressive—becoming noticeably dejected when losing his vehicle or visibly panicked when companions are in danger. While perceived by some as somber, he possesses a caring nature. He dislikes eating insects. When Son Goku continuously mispronounces his name as Goriro, Glorio initially corrects him, but eventually relents and responds to the incorrect name.

Abilities

Glorio is a skilled marksman who uses a double-barreled ray gun, alongside impressive physical combat proficiency. He can cast lightning magic known as Flash Bolt, which is powerful enough to knock away the Power Pole. He has also learned the Namekian language, enabling him to grant wishes using the Demon Realm Dragon Balls.

Background

Raised as an orphan in the Third Demon Realm, Glorio was recruited by Dr. Arinsu after she recognized his talent. Acting as a spy, he approached Son Goku under the guise of stopping King Gomah to secretly collect the Demon Realm Dragon Balls for Arinsu. However, bonding with Goku and his companions during their journey caused a change of heart. When summoning the dragon, he disobeyed Arinsu's orders and wished to restore Goku and the others to their original forms. Though dismissed by Arinsu for his betrayal, he was later appointed as a minister under the Demon Realm's new ruler.

Relationships

Glorio felt a strong sense of gratitude toward Dr. Arinsu for lifting him out of poverty, though he ultimately chose his bond with Son Goku over her orders. He develops a close friendship with Son Goku (Mini) and the Supreme Kai (Mini) while traveling together. He also shares a camaraderie with Panzy and Hibis.

Trivia

Keeping with the naming convention of characters connected to the Third Demon Realm, his name is likely derived from the gloriosa flower.
