Appearance
Recoome is a towering, heavily muscled male alien with eyebrows absent and dark or brown eyes. His striking hair is short, bright red or brown, and styled upward to resemble a pineapple. He wears the standard Frieza Force combat armor along with a scouter. During combat, his outfit is frequently damaged, leaving much of his muscular physique exposed. In certain depictions, a subtle pattern is visible on the tips of his footwear.
Personality
Recoome possesses a lighthearted, comedic demeanor, often striking elaborate theatrical poses during battle. However, this hides a cruel nature; he enjoys tormenting weaker foes and psychologically breaking opponents by casually withstanding their strongest attacks. Confident in his individual power, he prefers fighting single-handedly rather than coordinating with teammates. His overconfidence occasionally leads him to leave huge openings when preparing heavy attacks.
Abilities
Lacking superhuman trickery or psychokinesis, Recoome relies on raw physical durability and massive power. His martial skills include the high-speed knee strike known as the Recoome Kick, an aerial neck-breaking piledriver called the Recoome Death Driver, and a devastating mouth-fired energy beam named the Recoome Eraser Gun. He also employs a heavy headbutt attack and a high-yield explosive blast named the Recoome Ultra Fighting Bomber.
Background
Deployed to Planet Namek to secure the Dragon Balls for Frieza, Recoome won a game of chance to fight Vegeta solo. He effortlessly shrugged off Vegeta's attacks and mercilessly battered Krillin and Son Gohan to the brink of death. His streak ended abruptly when Son Goku arrived and incapacitated him with a single swift elbow strike. Unable to move, he was ultimately finished off by Vegeta. In anime filler arcs, he later appears in the otherworldly realms of Kaio's planet and Hell.
Relationships
As a prominent member of the Ginyu Force, Recoome serves under Frieza alongside Captain Ginyu, Burter, Jeice, and Guldo, frequently performing synchronized poses with them. His teammates sometimes tease him about his sadistic streak. On Planet Namek, he brutalized Vegeta, Krillin, and Son Gohan before being swiftly defeated by Son Goku.

Recoome's name is derived as an anagram of the word cream. According to secondary material for certain video game releases, his flamboyant fighting poses stem from taking ballet lessons in his youth. In the game Dragon Ball Z: Super Saiya Densetsu, palette-swapped enemy variations based on his character model appear under the names Earth and Zoft.
