Overview

Hit is a key combatant appearing in Dragon Ball Super. Hailing from Universe 6, he is a legendary hitman famous for his perfect success rate in completing high-stakes contracts. As the undisputed strongest warrior of his home universe, he serves as the lead fighter in multiversal competitions. Despite his deadly profession, Hit maintains a deep sense of martial honor and respect for formidable opponents.

Appearance

Hit is a tall alien warrior featuring purple skin, red eyes, and a lean yet muscular physical build. His head and facial structures have a streamlined alien silhouette without extravagant features. He wears a dark, full-length trench coat-style outfit with a neat design. He is over one thousand years old.

Personality

Hit is quiet, composed, and pragmatic. He approaches his work with detached professionalism, completing targets efficiently while avoiding unnecessary cruelty and taking time to pay respects at his targets' graves. Engaging in battle against strong martial artists like Son Goku ignites his hidden passion for combat. Over time, he displays genuine camaraderie and concern for his teammates, showing a complex character behind his stoic exterior.

Abilities

Hit utilizes the Time-Skip technique, stopping time for others for approximately one-tenth of a second to strike vital points unseen. By accumulating skipped time, he can generate a pocket dimension to phase through attacks and move undetected. He converts his ki into invisible shockwaves that pass through physical matter to directly rupture internal organs such as the heart. In combat, he rapidly adapts, gaining advanced applications like Time-Lag to slow a target's perception or the Cage of Time to immobilize an enemy's temporal flow.

Background

Recruited by the God of Destruction Champa and the Angel Vados in exchange for a transport vehicle, Hit joins the Universe 6 team for the inter-universe tournament against Universe 7. After swiftly defeating Vegeta and fighting Son Goku to a standstill, he intentionally forfeits to Monaka. Later, he arrives on Earth to fulfill an assassination contract on Son Goku, unaware that Goku himself secretly requested the hit to force a full-powered rematch. In the Tournament of Power, Hit anchors Universe 6, eliminating Narirama and fighting off Dyspo and Kunshi before challenging Universe 11's champion, Jiren.

Relationships

Hit shares a respectful rival dynamic with Son Goku, who goes so far as to hire Hit for his own assassination to experience his true lethal capabilities. He faced Vegeta and Monaka during the universe exhibition match. He operates under contracts from Champa and Vados, while acting as a reliable leader and protector for fellow Universe 6 combatants Cabba, Frost, Caulifla, and Kale. In the multiversal battle royale, he directly combats Universe 11's Jiren, Dyspo, and Kunshi.

Trivia

Hit's name is derived directly from the English word 'hitman.' The depiction of his battle strength and technical mechanics differs notably between the anime and manga adaptations; the manga emphasizes strict limitations on his Time-Skip capability when facing opponents whose raw strength significantly surpasses his own.
