Vados

Overview

Vados is a female divine character from Dragon Ball Super. She is the daughter of the Grand Minister and the elder sister of Whis, who serves Universe 7. Acting as the loyal attendant and martial arts master to Champa, the God of Destruction of Universe 6, she accompanies him as his primary companion and guide.

Appearance

She has light blue skin, purple eyes, and long white hair styled into a high ponytail that hangs behind her. A pale blue halo floats around her neck. Her attire consists of a long-sleeved green dress featuring puffy upper sleeves and an orange sash bound around her waist, paired with white boots. She carries a long staff topped with a hovering black orb.

Personality

Vados maintains a polite register, yet possesses a thoroughly cynical and sarcastic nature. She frequently mocks her master Champa for his waistline and lazy demeanor with a subtle smile. Despite her sharp tongue, she is remarkably obedient to his commands, showing a detached, cold composure when carrying out even unreasonable or destructive orders.

Abilities

Possessing immense divine power as an Angel, she can erase entire planets with a single flick of her staff, which she also utilizes to observe events across space. She is an exceptionally skilled martial artist who formerly trained Whis. However, she lacks culinary talent, and her cooking is regarded as exceedingly unpalatable.

Background

Born as an offspring of the Grand Minister, Vados served as Whis's mentor roughly one thousand years in the past. After assuming her post in Universe 6, she routinely accompanied Champa across space, obliterating numerous planets at his command prior to and during the God of Destruction Champa Arc.

Relationships

She is the daughter of the Grand Minister and the elder sister of Universe 7's Angel, Whis. She serves as the attendant and master to Champa, the God of Destruction of Universe 6, often tattling on his improper conduct to higher deities. She also shares a subtle, tense rivalry with Marcarita, the Angel of Universe 11.

Trivia

Her name is derived from the alcoholic beverage Calvados. She makes playable appearances across various video games in the franchise, including Dragon Ball Heroes and as downloadable content in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.
