Overview
Pixie-Bob, whose real name is Ryuko Tsuchikawa, is a character from My Hero Academia. She is a Pro Hero and a founding member of the four-person rescue team Wild Wild Pussycats, which specializes in mountain rescue operations. As the creator behind the group's cat-themed concept and naming, she serves as a lively and energetic presence within her team.
Appearance
She has long blonde hair and blue eyes featuring ringed pupils. Her hero outfit is primarily blue and designed with an open neckline that exposes her collarbones. Her gear includes cat-ear headgear, large gloves equipped with paw pads, and a cat tail. Additionally, she wears painted cat-whisker markings on both of her cheeks.
Personality
She has an exceptionally high-energy, upbeat personality. Despite being in her early thirties, she is fiercely self-conscious about her age and marriage prospects, insistently maintaining that she remains eighteen at heart. She acts defensively when her long career is mentioned and displays a flirtatious side by playfully staking a claim on promising young male hero students for the future.
Abilities
She possesses the Quirk known as Earth Flow, allowing her to freely manipulate soil and ground over a wide area by touching it and focusing her mind. Using this power, she can generate autonomous Earth Beasts out of dirt and alter land features to create customized training grounds. Her special techniques include Earth Break Flow, which reshapes and controls torrents of earth.
Background
During her school days, she helped her shy friend Mandalay break out of her shell, eventually co-founding their hero team together. During the U.A. High School Class 1-A summer training camp, she used her Quirk to build custom training areas and obstacles. However, when the Vanguard Action Squad of the League of Villains attacked, she suffered a severe head injury from Magne. After making a full recovery, she rejoined the team and, following the final battle, married a fellow pro hero of her generation while remaining active in her hero duties.
Relationships
She shares a close friendship with her teammate Mandalay (Shino Sosaki) dating back to their school days, and maintains deep ties with fellow team members Ragdoll (Tomoko Shiretoko) and Tiger (Yawara Chatora). She took a strong interest in the growth of Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Shoto Todoroki, and Tenya Iida during their training. She holds a direct grudge against Magne of the League of Villains, who critically injured her during the camp raid.
Trivia
She was the original creator of both the team name and the overall cat theme for the Wild Wild Pussycats. The official final guidebook revealed that after the story's main conflict ended, she married a pro hero belonging to her generation.
