Todoroki Fuyumi

Overview

Todoroki Fuyumi is a supporting character in the manga and anime series My Hero Academia. As the eldest daughter of the Pro Hero Endeavor, Todoroki Enji, and Todoroki Rei, she works as an elementary school teacher. Within her deeply troubled household, she serves as a compassionate mediator who constantly strives to mend fractured relationships and restore genuine warmth and togetherness among her family members.

Appearance

Todoroki Fuyumi features white hair intermingled with streaks of red, inheriting physical traits from both of her parents. She wears dark-framed, semi-rimless glasses over her blue or grey eyes. Her everyday attire typically consists of modest civilian clothing, such as long-sleeved sweaters.

Personality

Todoroki Fuyumi is defined by her forgiving nature, empathy, and emotional resilience. Despite growing up in a difficult family environment, she refrains from holding grudges. Remorse over being unable to protect her younger brother Todoroki Shouto during their childhood inspired her to become an educator. Although she privately regrets not confronting her family's issues sooner, she earnestly welcomes her father's path to redemption and longs for true familial harmony.

Abilities

Todoroki Fuyumi possesses an ice-manipulating Quirk inherited from her mother, Todoroki Rei. Since she never underwent combat training for hero work, her physical abilities remain at a civilian level. However, she displays exceptional domestic skills, having managed household duties for years following their housekeeper's retirement. She is a highly proficient cook capable of preparing complex meals, such as Sichuan mapo tofu and fried chicken cutlets.

Background

Born as the second child and eldest daughter of Todoroki Enji and Todoroki Rei, Fuyumi was spared from intensive hero training as she did not manifest her father's ideal combined Quirk. Following her mother's hospitalization and the retirement of their housekeeper, she took charge of managing the household. Driven by guilt over her inability to help Shouto in his youth, she became an elementary school teacher while continuously visiting her mother in the hospital and attending Shouto's school events in her father's stead.

Relationships

Todoroki Fuyumi maintains a loving connection with her mother, Todoroki Rei, whom she visits regularly. She deeply cares for her brothers, Todoroki Touya, Todoroki Natsuo, and Todoroki Shouto, hoping for their mutual reconciliation. While her father, Endeavor (Todoroki Enji), feels strong guilt toward her, he is profoundly grateful for her dedication to keeping the family together. When Shouto brings his classmates Midoriya Izuku and Bakugou Katsuki to their home, she warmly entertains them with a meal.

Trivia

Alongside her profession as an elementary school teacher, Todoroki Fuyumi enjoys watching television dramas in her leisure time. Her exceptional culinary skills allow her to prepare authentic multi-course meals for family members and guests alike.
