Overview
Setsuna Tokage is a student in U.A. High School's Hero Course Class 1-B in "My Hero Academia." Admitted as one of the elite recommended students, she operates under the hero alias Lizardy. Behind her easygoing and playful demeanor lies a sharp tactical mind, allowing her to serve as a key strategist for her class during combat and training exercises.
Appearance
Setsuna is characterized by her long, glossy dark hair with soft waves and her sharp, pointed eyes. When smiling or speaking, her long tongue and jagged teeth become visible, giving her a distinctly reptilian appearance. Her hero outfit is a blue-colored bodysuit with a reptile-scale motif, designed with adaptive features that accommodate her regeneration capability to keep her covered during battle.
Personality
Setsuna maintains a relaxed, fun-loving attitude in daily life, but transitions into a calculating tactician during combat, methodically analyzing and exploiting her opponents' vulnerabilities. Having a background similar to a middle-school gyaru, she often finds her male classmates' simple temperaments amusing yet exasperating. She shares a pragmatic approach to fighting with Neito Monoma and earns strong reliance from aggressive classmates such as Togaru Kamakiri.
Abilities
Her Quirk, "Lizard Tail Split," enables her to detach her body into up to 50 individual pieces and freely levitate them through the air. Each separated segment retains its biological functions—such as eyes providing vision or a mouth emitting sound—allowing her to perform aerial reconnaissance, disrupt enemy vision, and block physical movements. Because separated parts lose mobility after a duration and regeneration drains stamina, she strategically recalls parts or utilizes special attacks like "Castaway."
Background
After entering U.A. High School through recommendations, Setsuna participated in the U.A. Sports Festival, opting for a conservative strategy in early rounds. During the Joint Training Arc, she spearheaded Class 1-B's fourth match squad against Katsuki Bakugo's team, aiming to exploit Bakugo's erratic nature; however, their refined teamwork caught her off guard and led to defeat. Later, she interned under the Pro Hero Majestic alongside Momo Yaoyorozu to refine her predictive analysis and operational efficiency. Following graduation, she adopted blonde hair and achieved a notable position on the hero rankings.
Relationships
As one of U.A.'s four recommendation students, Setsuna stands alongside Shoto Todoroki, Momo Yaoyorozu, and Juzo Honenuki. She built a solid rapport with Momo Yaoyorozu while training under Majestic during their internship. She shares a pragmatic battle mindset with Neito Monoma, leading to a smooth dynamic between them. Furthermore, teammates like Togaru Kamakiri, Yosetsu Awase, and Kojiro Bondo place absolute confidence in her strategic direction.
Trivia
Her surname "Tokage" originates from the Japanese word for lizard. Among the four recommendation students in U.A.'s Hero Course, she is the shortest in stature. Her favorite things are dinosaurs. In her professional hero career, she secured 22nd place on the Hero Billboard Chart JP.
