Aglaea

Overview

Aglaea is a 5-star Lightning character following the Path of Remembrance in Honkai: Star Rail. As one of the Chrysos Heirs of Amphoreus and the de facto leader of the sacred city of Okhema, she inherited the Coreflame and divine authority of 'Romance' from the Titan Moneta. Known locally as a dressmaster and tailor, this demigod guides heroes on a long journey to defeat the gods, reclaim the sacred flame, and restore the dying world of Amphoreus.

Appearance

Aglaea has short blonde hair decorated with small white flowers and an asymmetrical golden laurel crown. Her blue-to-green gradient eyes lack light due to blindness. She wears a Greco-Roman styled sleeveless white dress, a single shoulder armor piece on her left side, a black laurel-patterned thigh strap on her right leg, and gold high-heeled gladiator sandals. She is accompanied by her torso-shaped Memosprite, the Garbweaver (Raftra), and naturally favors her left hand.

Personality

Aglaea is naturally elegant, bright, and deeply compassionate toward the safety of her people. However, as a wartime leader, she exhibits a ruthless, pragmatic demeanor, willing to utilize everything and everyone—including herself—to save her world. She deliberately plays the pseudo-villain to draw hatred onto herself, maintaining a solitude born of profound sense of duty and a belief that she has no place in the future she is building.

Abilities

In battle, Aglaea summons her Memosprite, the Garbweaver, to launch coordinated blast attacks against enemies. The Garbweaver automatically targets foes and increases its own speed over time. Upon activating her Ultimate, Aglaea enters the 'Supreme Pose' state, drawing a sword from the Garbweaver's chest to unleash powerful joint attacks. She can also inflict the 'Interstice Thread' status on targets to deal additional Lightning damage.

Background

Born into a lineage dedicated to the goddess Moneta, Aglaea pursued artistic beauty from youth, eventually becoming a famous fashion designer in Okhema before inheriting divine authority as a demigod. Taking over leadership from her regressed mentor Trisbias, she guides the Chrysos Heirs. During the Trailblaze Continuance, she welcomes visitors from beyond the sky, though she strictly tests them with golden threads when world secrets are leaked. She bears the weight of endless sacrifices to ensure Amphoreus reaches a future without strife.

Relationships

Aglaea took over leadership of Okhema from her mentor Trisbias. She acts as a leader and ally to fellow Chrysos Heirs such as Phainon, Castrice, Modis, and Cipher, while holding ideological differences with Anax. When meeting off-worlders like the Trailblazer and Dan Heng, she initially subjected them to strict interrogation over leaked secrets, but ultimately came to rely on them as vital allies for the salvation of Amphoreus.

Trivia

Her name originates from Aglaea, one of the Charites (Three Graces) in Greek mythology, representing grace and elegance. Her Memosprite's name, Raftra, is derived from the Greek word for seamstress or tailor. Early development concepts involved her commanding multiple mannequins at once, but this was streamlined to a single entity due to game engine resource constraints. She is also notable as the very first Remembrance Path character to be officially revealed for the game.
