Overview
Celenova is a character featured in Honkai: Star Rail. She serves as one of the Lord Ravagers, powerful Emanators directly aligned with Nanook, the Aeon of Destruction. Functioning as a vanguard general within the Antimatter Legion, she commands vast fleets and legions across the cosmos.
Appearance
Celenova appears as a pale-skinned female with white hair. She wears a priestly robe over a bodysuit, accompanied by a floating halo that covers her eye area. Her design features puzzle-piece motifs reminiscent of the Harmony.
Personality
Maintaining a calm and polite demeanor, Celenova conducts herself as a cool-headed, rational military commander. She is pragmatic enough to directly propose cooperation with outside factions if it aids in destroying a shared target. When arriving in response to desperate cries for help, she displays cold impartiality by inflicting equal annihilation upon both the petitioners and their adversaries.
Abilities
Celenova can manifest multiple avatars across star systems to command actions remotely, intervening even in small-scale fleet engagements. Through her authority to link the consciousness of her troops, she eliminates fear and communication delays, driving her forces to execute theoretical tactics with mechanical precision. Neither her main body nor her avatars can be destroyed by standard weaponry; severing their heads merely causes brief disruption to the chain of command.
Background
Celenova originated from the ashes of Airinev, an Emanator of Harmony, when Nanook destroyed a world under Harmony's protection. Elevated to succeed the slain Lord Ravager Zhurad, she became Nanook's most frequently deployed vanguard, leaving a trail of destruction along paths marked by the Stellaron contamination. Over time, she has engaged numerous civilizations, including interactions with the Xianzhou Zhuming and a major conflict around the Sedunilamo star cluster.
Relationships
She serves the Aeon Nanook as a key Lord Ravager within the Antimatter Legion. She shares information with fellow Lord Ravagers like Phantylia and observes events surrounding peers such as Iron Tomb. Additionally, she maintains a hostile relationship with the Xianzhou Alliance—clashing with fleets from the Yaoqing, Zhuming, and Fanghu, including generals like Feixiao—as well as the Interastral Peace Corporation.
Trivia
Among all the Lord Ravagers, rumors suggest Celenova is the only one who knows the secrets behind the Stellarons, or perhaps is the one responsible for scattering them. Fans sometimes draw humorous parallels to the Transformers character Starscream due to shared translations of their names in certain regions.
