Hyacine

Overview

Hyacine, whose real name is Hyacinthia, is a playable five-star Wind character following the Path of Remembrance in Honkai: Star Rail. Originating from the world of Amphoreus, she acts as the chief physician of the Twilight Courtyard and is one of the Chrysos Heirs guarding the Coreflame of the Sky. Accompanied by her winged memosprite Little Ica, she dedicates herself to healing both physical and emotional wounds while aiding her allies on their journey.

Appearance

Hyacine is a young woman with blue eyes and long pink hair featuring a light blue gradient tied into twintails. She wears a winged red beret on her head. Her outfit consists of a long-sleeved layered dress featuring a white inner piece beneath a scalloped red outer layer adorned with bows, complemented by white pantyhose and black loafers.

Personality

Hyacine possesses an optimistic, affectionate, and empathetic nature. As a skilled physician, she excels at soothing psychological distress as well as treating physical injuries, always concealing her own sorrows to keep her patients at ease. She addresses her companions with playful pet suffixes and occasionally showcases a lighthearted side by doing spot-on voice imitations of others.

Abilities

In battle, Hyacine operates as a Wind-element healer alongside her memosprite, Little Ica. Her Skill restores the team's health and summons Little Ica, while her Ultimate provides immediate healing and induces a state that increases all allies' maximum HP. Little Ica automatically consumes its own HP to heal wounded allies whenever any character acts, and it can release an attack dealing Wind damage based on accumulated team healing.

Background

Hyacine is a descendant of sky priests and the hero Seneos. After the original Twilight Courtyard was lost to cataclysms like the Black Tide, she re-established it at the Tree Court to heal the suffering. Though she achieved brilliant academic results, she chose serving as a teaching assistant over becoming a formal scholar to directly help people. Invited by the Chrysos Heirs to join their quest, she passed ancient sky trials, inherited divine authority, and ultimately became a Titan by embedding herself into the mural to shield the people of Okhema.

Relationships

Hyacine works closely as a assistant to her teacher, Anax, supporting his academic duties. She shares strong bonds of trust with her fellow Chrysos Heirs, including Aglaea and Tribbie. She maintains a warm friendship with the Trailblazer and Dan Heng, fondly addressing them with nicknames, while constantly traveling alongside her trusted memosprite companion, Little Ica.

Trivia

Her name is associated with the mythical figure Hyakinthos and the ancient Hyacinthia festival. Official promotional art contains text written in the script of Amphoreus that reads 'It's you who healed the sky.' Her featured battle music track, titled 'Proi Proi' (Dawn), was composed by HOYO-MiX.
