Overview
Luocha is a playable five-star Imaginary-element character following the Path of The Abundance in Honkai: Star Rail. Introducing himself as a traveling merchant from beyond the stars, he becomes involved in the Stellaron crisis on the Xianzhou Luofu, where he makes use of his exceptional medical skills. Despite his polite and calm demeanor, he carries a mysterious giant coffin on his back and holds secret motives regarding the Aeon of Abundance.
Appearance
Luocha is an elegant young man with long blonde hair tied low, green eyes, and hair falling between his eyes. He wears a long-sleeved white jacket over a black shirt, paired with white pants, black shoes, black gloves, and a green armband on his left sleeve. He also wears jewelry accessories and constantly carries a massive white coffin on his back.
Personality
Luocha possesses a gentle, polite, and calm demeanor. He presents himself modestly as a simple merchant with basic medical knowledge, remaining level-headed in dangerous situations to help those in need. Beneath his serene exterior, however, lies a determined and calculating mindset forged by the tragic history of his homeland, rendering him willing to employ extreme measures to fulfill his long-term goals.
Abilities
Luocha utilizes powers aligned with Abundance to heal and support his team. His Skill restores a single ally's HP and automatically triggers without using Skill Points whenever an ally's HP drops to 50% or below. His Ultimate clears one buff from all enemies while dealing area-of-effect Imaginary damage. Accumulated charges of Abyss Flower form a Zone that heals allies whenever they attack enemies. Additionally, his capabilities include cleansing debuffs from allies and granting resistance to crowd control effects.
Background
Hailing from a ruined homeland plagued by demons, a restrictive church, and madness, Luocha maintains his homeland's traditional attire as a personal reminder of his path. After entering the Xianzhou Luofu, he briefly traveled alongside Sushang and Dan Heng. However, bringing a Stellaron onto the Luofu was merely part of a larger plan concocted with Jingliu. By turning himself in, he aimed to gain an audience with the Alliance's generals to reveal a method to eradicate the Aeon of Abundance, using a remnant of the Swarm's Aeon contained within his coffin.
Relationships
During his travels on the Xianzhou Luofu, Luocha temporarily journeyed with Sushang and Dan Heng. He is allied with Jingliu in a shared quest to eliminate Abundance, and also cooperates with Ruan Mei of the Genius Society. Conversely, Welt Yang views Luocha with intense suspicion due to his striking resemblance to his home universe's arch-nemesis, Otto Apocalypse. Following his actions, General Jing元 detains him to await trial by the Xianzhou Alliance generals.
Trivia
The name Luocha is merely an alias adopted for convenience while staying on the Xianzhou; his true name is notoriously difficult to pronounce. His visual design and thematic elements share strong parallels with Otto Apocalypse and the Divine Key 'Abyss Flower' from the visual novel Seven Swords in Honkai Impact 3rd. Notably, he is the first guest character to permanently stop visiting the Astral Express lounge after completing his storyline.
