Hato grew up as the eldest daughter of the Higashikata family. At age nine, she witnessed her mother, Higashikata Kaato, get arrested for a crime—an event she clearly remembers into adulthood. As a young adult, she established her career in the fashion industry. Later in the story, she introduces a man named Tamaki Damo to her family as her boyfriend, unwittingly drawing the entire household into a severe and dangerous conflict.
Relationships
She is the daughter of Higashikata Norisuke IV and Higashikata Kaato. Her family includes her older brother Higashikata Jobin, younger brother Higashikata Joshu, and younger sister Higashikata Daiya, as well as her sister-in-law Higashikata Mitsuba and nephew Higashikata Tsurugi. She maintained a romantic relationship with Tamaki Damo. Within the household, she interacts closely with her siblings and the guest Higashikata Josuke.
