Overview
A minor antagonist in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 6: Stone Ocean. As one of DIO's illegitimate sons, he is the half-brother of Giorno Giovanna, Rikiel, and Donatello Versus. Depressed and lacking any sense of purpose in life, he fell into severe drug addiction until an encounter with Father Enrico Pucci in a hospital awakened his Stand capability. Finding a newfound, destructive purpose, he uses his powers to unleash chaos across the globe, becoming a dangerous opponent to Jolyne Cujoh's allies.
Appearance
He bears a distinctive U-shaped mark—resembling a tattoo or scar—under his left eye. As a descendant of the Joestar lineage through DIO's host body, he has a star-shaped birthmark. Unlike his half-brothers, he is not depicted as conventionally attractive.
Personality
Having spent his life in despair without a clear purpose, Ungaro harbored deep resentment toward society and a particular hatred for artistic and fictional characters that grant people hope. Despising the world that looked down on him, he found a twisted sense of purpose upon awakening his Stand. He displays a sadistically joyful temperament, reacting with intense euphoria as he listens to news reports detailing the global chaos and suffering caused by his own actions.
Abilities
He possesses the Stand Bohemian Rhapsody, a long-range power with global reach. It brings fictional characters from books, paintings, and animation into the real world. When someone's heart is drawn to a materialized character, their soul detaches from their physical body, forcing them to follow the exact plotline and fatal conclusion of that character's story. Fictional works affected by this power lose their illustrations and printed characters during the manifestation.
Background
Born to a woman who served as food for DIO, Ungaro lived a hopeless life that led to severe drug addiction. After being rushed to a hospital due to an overdose, he encountered Father Enrico Pucci, who drew out his Stand capabilities. Embracing Pucci's cause, he boarded an airplane and activated his Stand from safety, causing a global disaster dubbed the Fantasy Hero Incident. However, Weather Report forced a manifested Vincent van Gogh to create 'Put Back Man,' a hero who instantly sealed all fictional characters back into their origins, leaving Ungaro mentally broken.
Relationships
He is one of DIO's sons and shares half-sibling ties with Giorno Giovanna, Rikiel, and Donatello Versus. Bound by fate through the Joestar bloodline inherited from Jonathan Joestar's body, he met Father Enrico Pucci in a hospital and dedicated himself to protecting him after finding a shared vision. His Stand's effect dragged Narciso Anasui and Weather Report into deadly narrative traps.
Trivia
His name is derived from the French fashion designer and brand Emanuel Ungaro. Despite carrying the blood of the Joestar family, who famously suffer frequent transport-related misfortunes, he successfully flies on a commercial airplane without experiencing an aviation accident.
