Appearance
Melone has long asymmetrical hair, depicted as blonde or light purple, and light blue or green eyes. He wears a sheer mask covering one side of his face, a highly revealing asymmetrical top, gloves, and jewelry including earrings.
Personality
Melone possesses a analytical demeanor focused on recording demographic facts and personal history. However, his methods are highly eccentric and unsettling. He feels no hesitation when intrusively questioning unfamiliar women about their physical health or personal intimate preferences. When met with physical retaliation, he expresses enthusiastic delight and analyzes the host's vitality based on the slap.
Abilities
His Stand, Baby Face, consists of a main unit resembling a computer with a keyboard. By combining a target's blood sample with a human female host, it creates an autonomous homunculus known as the 'son.' The son possesses the power to deconstruct target matter or itself into block-like components for assimilation or camouflage. Its combat performance and demeanor depend on the host's traits and Melone's subsequent education. The son functions as an independent entity, meaning damage is not reflected back to Melone, and new units can be generated repeatedly as long as blood remains.
Background
Following the defeat of his teammates Prosciutto and Pesci, Melone obtains blood from Bruno Bucciarati. He boards a train, corners a female passenger to serve as a biological host, and creates a homunculus to track down the enemy. While the Stand successfully incapacitates members of the target squad, Giorno Giovanna turns the tide and destroys the entity. As Melone exits the train to locate a new host, a venomous snake created from the Stand's charred remains bites his tongue, resulting in his immediate death.
Relationships
Melone is a member of Passione's Hitman Team, led by Risotto Nero, alongside teammates Ghiaccio, Prosciutto, Pesci, Iluso, and Formaggio. Under the overall command of the boss Diavolo, he becomes an enemy to Bruno Bucciarati, Giorno Giovanna, and Trish Una.
Trivia
His name, Melone, means melon in Italian.
