Karera misuses this power for small-scale scams and stealing money, but she also successfully employs it in battle alongside Josuke Higashikata to defeat the hostile A. Phex Brothers.
Background
While attending the same university as Josefumi Kujo, Sakunami Karera developed feelings for him and engaged in stalker-like behavior. However, Yoshikage Kira exploited her presence as a decoy to escape torture by Tamaki Damo, nearly killing her in an explosion and forcing her to flee from the Rock Humans who memorized her face. Following the earthquake, she relocated to Sapporo but eventually traveled to Morioh Town to find Josuke Higashikata, leaving the area after aiding him against enemy attackers.
Relationships
Having harbored intense affection for Josefumi Kujo, Sakunami Karera confuses Josuke Higashikata with him and affectionately addresses him by a nickname, though Josuke views her with skepticism. In contrast, she holds intense hatred toward Yoshikage Kira for leaving her to die as a distraction during Tamaki Damo's interrogation. She also comes into direct conflict with enemy Rock Humans, including the A. Phex Brothers.
