Appearance
In her disguised form, she presents as a young woman with dark hair parted down the middle, purple eyes, a bindi, and skin adorned with earrings, a necklace, and bracelets. She wears a headscarf along with sleeveless attire and a sari. However, her true physical body underneath this disguise is short, heavy, and extremely unappealing.
Personality
She displays a highly deceitful and calculating temperament. Capable of acting like an innocent woman to lower her enemies' guard, she willingly flirted with and distracted other targets to seamlessly carry out her lethal assignments.
Abilities
She commands the Stand Empress, named after the third Tarot card. Activated when her blood touches a victim, it forms a parasitic growth on their body that slowly matures into a sentient, physical entity capable of vocalization and lethal attacks. As a bound, physical Stand visible to normal humans, any critical damage inflicted upon Empress directly mirrors onto Nena's actual body. Additionally, she uses her Stand powers to coat herself in flesh, completely disguising her original appearance.
Background
Originating from a noble background, Nena was recruited into DIO's forces to eliminate the Joestar group. She murdered a young woman in India to steal her form with her Stand powers, using the disguise to act as Hol Horse's partner. She successfully infected Joseph Joestar's arm with her parasitic Stand, but her strategy collapsed when Joseph trapped the Stand in coal tar and severed it. The resulting damage reflected back onto Nena, ending her life.
Relationships
She served under DIO as an assassin sent via Enya the Hag. She maintained a fake romantic relationship with Hol Horse to keep her cover. During her attack on Joseph Joestar, she targeted Jean Pierre Polnareff by distracting him with affection so he would not assist his ally.
Trivia
Her name is derived from the German musical act Nena. In the 1990s OVA adaptation, her character role was modified, appearing solely as an actual victim of Hol Horse rather than a hostile Stand user fighting the main cast.
