Overview

Nijimura Keicho is a major early antagonist in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable. As the older brother of Nijimura Okuyasu, he possesses the mysterious Bow and Arrow that grants Stand abilities, causing a sudden rise of Stand users throughout Morioh. In sharp contrast to his impulsive younger sibling, Keicho is calm, calculated, and driven by a desperate personal mission to end his father's tragic transformation.

Appearance

Keicho is an eighteen-year-old young man with long blonde hair tied back and blue eyes. He wears earrings as accessories and dons a modified Japanese school uniform featuring bold embroidery of the kanji character for trillion on his attire. His facial features carry a stern, mature demeanor that makes his age difficult to gauge at first glance.

Personality

Keicho is methodical, composed, and highly analytical, approaching conflicts with carefully structured tactics. He exhibits an exceptionally neat and orderly mindset, insisting on completing one task entirely before starting another. Although he speaks harshly to his brother Okuyasu and often acts detached, he deeply cares for his family. Beneath his cold exterior lies a heavy burden of guilt for the lives affected by his actions.

Abilities

Keicho commands Bad Company, a swarm-type Stand manifesting as a miniature military force. It comprises sixty infantry soldiers, seven tanks, and four attack helicopters, along with specialized units and landmines. Despite their toy-like scale, their weaponry deals full-sized damage, overwhelming targets with coordinated gunfire and explosive missile barrages. Damaging individual units causes negligible harm to Keicho. Additionally, he wields the Stand Bow and Arrow to forcibly awaken Stand abilities in others.

Background

Keicho's domestic life shattered a decade ago when his father was infected by DIO's flesh bud, which mutated after DIO's death and transformed his father into an immortal creature. Seeking a way to grant his father a merciful death, Keicho acquired the Bow and Arrow and systematically shot Morioh residents to spawn a Stand user strong enough to achieve this. After being defeated by Higashikata Josuke, Keicho learned that his father still treasured their family memories. Shortly after, he sacrificed himself to save Okuyasu from Akira Otoishi's attack. He later appeared in Okuyasu's dream to help him choose his own destiny.

Relationships

Keicho maintains a strict and demanding attitude toward his younger brother, Nijimura Okuyasu, yet his ultimate action is giving his life to shield him. His overarching goal was to grant his mutated father a peaceful end out of deep filial love. Though initially hostile toward Higashikata Josuke, he comes to recognize Josuke's insight regarding his father's lingering humanity. Ultimately, Keicho is killed by Akira Otoishi, a Stand user created by his own Arrow.

Trivia

Keicho's name includes the character for trillion, contrasting with his brother Okuyasu whose name includes billion. His Stand's name originates from the British rock band Bad Company. Due to his selfless act of saving his brother and guiding him even after death, he is warmly regarded by fans as one of the definitive big brother figures in the series.
