Overview

Chasca is a 5-star Anemo character in Genshin Impact who serves as a Peacemaker for the Flower-Feather Clan (Tlalocan) in the region of Natlan. As the inheritor of the Ancient Name "Vuka" (meaning Transcension), she is recognized as one of Natlan's Six Heroes. Known throughout the tribes for her ability to settle conflicts, she prefers diplomacy but will not hesitate to enforce peace through intense physical combat if standard negotiations fail.

Appearance

Chasca has long red hair with a purple gradient at the tips, asymmetrical bangs covering one eye, and a side braid. She features blue eyes with red eyeshadow, pointy ears, black nails, and a mole on her left shoulder. Her attire includes a black cowboy hat with a feather ornament, a two-tone red and blue scarf, a black sleeveless crop top, a brown belt, black boots with spurs, and a single-pantsleg design. She wears asymmetrical black gloves (elbow-length on her left arm and shorter on her right), a gold earring, arm bracelets, a thigh strap, and an Anemo Vision hanging from her belt.

Personality

Though she maintains a calm and rational exterior as a mediator, Chasca possesses an underlying aggressive instinct stemming from her past. She values words as humanity's strongest tool and views armed intervention merely as a means to force opponents to the negotiating table. Deeply committed to her family and allies, she works tirelessly to protect others and put an end to destructive disputes.

Abilities

Chasca specializes in aerial combat by mounting her giant floating weapon, the Spirit Revolver. Her Elemental Skill grants enhanced mobility and allows her to fire shots whose elemental types dynamically adapt to the Swirlable elements (Pyro, Hydro, Electro, Cryo) present in her party. Her Elemental Burst fires a powerful Soulreaper Shell that splits into multiple elemental projectiles based on party composition. She can also trigger a specialized aerial swap (Nightsoul Transmission) and recover Phlogiston upon defeating enemies.

Background

Abandoned as an infant due to a rare illness, Chasca survived Abyssal contamination through sheer willpower and was raised in the wild by a Qucusaur named Chimpu. After returning to human society, she was adopted by Cuco's family. Over time, she mastered her fiery temperament and became a renowned mediator for Natlan's tribes. During the crisis of the Abyssal invasion, she endured tragic losses, suppressed her inner corruption, and fully awakened as a hero of the Flower-Feather Clan.

Relationships

Chasca shares a bond with her adoptive sister Cuco, whose fate played a pivotal role in Chasca's awakening. She considers the Qucusaur Chimpu her mother and the Qucusaur Coya her older sister. She is close friends with Mualani, with whom she often fought in her youth. Her weapon, the Spirit Revolver, was crafted for her by Xilonen. She also maintains strong collaborative bonds with Ororon and the Traveler during their joint efforts to protect Natlan.

Trivia

Due to her unique upbringing, Chasca is capable of understanding and communicating in both human and saurian languages. Her favorite foods are fish—which she grew accustomed to while living in the wild—and cooked meat. She actively avoids alcoholic beverages because intoxication impairs her physical precision.
