Overview
Jahoda is a playable Anemo bow-user from Genshin Impact, hailing from the Nod-Krai region. She serves as the sole official employee of the Curatorium of Secrets, an information and odd-job agency located in Nasha Town. Though she boasts of being a legendary bounty hunter and frequently stumbles into misadventures, she relies on her strong luck and quick improvisation to complete high-risk assignments for her employer.
Appearance
Jahoda has short blonde hair tied in braided loops, alongside yellow eyes featuring star-shaped pupils. She wears pink-tinted sunglasses atop her head, a black hat with bat-ear accents, and has a visible side fang. Her outfit consists of a cross-laced highleg leotard, micro denim shorts, a single detached sleeve, and a mechanical prosthetic on her right arm. Her footwear is asymmetrical, featuring a red loose sock on one leg and a torn thigh-high sock on the other.
Personality
Described as a soft-hearted rogue, Jahoda acts confident and boastful on the surface, but hides a self-doubting and clumsy side. Although her instinct is to avoid trouble and prioritize self-preservation, she is soft-hearted and easily swayed by flattery or genuine earnestness. Unable to walk away from people in need, she grumbles while staying through to the end, displaying a remarkably expressive range of emotions.
Abilities
Jahoda is an Anemo support and healer who wields a bow. Her Normal Attack uses an acrobatic sequence involving kicks. Her Elemental Skill allows her to dash at high speeds while charging her treasure bottle with nearby elements (Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo) to launch element-infused attacks. Her Elemental Burst deploys assistant machines that continuously heal active party members based on her Attack stat while unleashing coordinated elemental attacks.
Background
Jahoda was formerly a member of the Seahook Gang, a rogue syndicate in Nasha Town. After internal conflict destroyed the group and cost her right arm, she was taken in by Nefer, the owner of the Curatorium of Secrets, beginning a new chapter as an employee. During the Archon Quests, she temporarily takes leave from the agency to assist the Traveler and Lauma in infiltrating Fatui experimental facilities.
Relationships
She works under Nefer, whom she cannot talk back to but respects deeply despite constant difficult assignments. Aino crafted her mechanical right arm, and Jahoda frequently hangs out at Aino's workshop. She shares a bickering yet friendly rapport with the robot Inefa, who taught her how to make her specialty dish. Additionally, she is frequently seen dealing with Ashelu, the cat at the Curatorium.
Trivia
Her name 'Jahoda' translates to 'strawberry' in certain Nordic languages, which correlates with her Constellation, Fragaria (Berry). A cutscene depicting her walking away with a blank face became a viral Internet meme, frequently adapted into promotional videos. Her favorite foods include sweet treats, whereas she dislikes heavy stews where the original ingredients lose their shape.
