Navia

Overview

Navia Caspar is the current president of the Spina di Rosula, a grassroots mutual-aid organization operating in the Fontaine region of Genshin Impact. Having inherited the leadership following her father Callas's passing, she actively leads rescue operations, community restoration, and problem-solving for the local citizens. Despite her refined, high-society appearance, she possesses an approachable, action-oriented personality and maintains a close bond with the people of Fontaine.

Appearance

Navia features long blonde hair styled into twin drill curls with side-swept bangs, paired with bright blue eyes accented by eyeshadow. Her attire includes an ornate sunhat decorated with ribbon and flower elements, a strapless patterned dress accompanied by detached sleeves, asymmetric gloves on her hands, a necklace, earrings, and over-the-knee boots. She carries a distinctive parasol decorated with ribbons and jewels, and puts on sunglasses during her heavy attacks.

Personality

Navia has a vibrant, upbeat demeanor and prefers taking direct action over administrative bureaucracy. Even when dealing with hardship or personal tragedy, she maintains an optimistic front to encourage those around her. She has a passion for baking confections, particularly macarons, and often hosts casual tea gatherings during serious discussions. Fiercely loyal and caring toward her allies, she places immense value on companionship and fondly refers to her closest confidants as her partners.

Abilities

Wielding a claymore and utilizing Ousia-aligned Geo power, Navia incorporates a concealed firearm inside her parasol, known as the Gunbrella. Her Elemental Skill fires Geo area-of-effect shots that gain increased damage and projectile count by consuming Crystal Shrapnel generated from Crystallize reactions. Charging the skill pulls in nearby crystals, and performing it temporarily infuses her normal attacks with Geo damage while triggering an Ousia attack. Her Elemental Burst unleashes artillery bombardments that deal Geo damage and provide tracking support fire while building up ammo stacks.

Background

Raised by her parents Callas and Clementine, Navia grew up within the Spina di Rosula. Following her father's tragic death in a judicial duel after being framed during a serial disappearance investigation, she inherited the leadership of the declining organization, relocating its core operations to Poisson and the Fleuve Cendre. Upon meeting the Traveler, she re-investigated the circumstances of her father's demise, successfully uncovering the true culprit and restoring Callas's honor. Later, when Poisson suffered a devastating flood from Primordial Seawater, she endured the heartbreaking loss of her trusted retainers while resolutely directing relief efforts and rebuilding the town.

Relationships

Navia holds immense affection and reverence for her late parents, Callas and Clementine. She shares a deep bond of mutual trust with the Traveler, whom she affectionately calls her partner. Her faithful retainers Melus and Silver protected her continuously until their final moments. Although her friendship with her childhood companion Clorinde was strained due to Clorinde's involvement in her father's lethal duel, the two reconciled after the truth was revealed. She also resolved her past resentment toward Chief Justice Neuvillette, establishing a relationship of mutual respect.

Trivia

Navia has a strong preference for sweets and tends to add extra sugar whenever she bakes macarons, a habit occasionally noted by others. She carries a portable baking device with her, allowing her to host tea time regardless of the setting. Additionally, she served as the featured subject for a photograph titled "The Flying Yellow Rose" taken by the journalist Charlotte, which is prominently displayed in The Steambird's gallery.
