Overview
A playable character from Genshin Impact, Razor is a youth raised by wolves in the region of Wolvendom in Mondstadt, earning him titles such as the Wolf Boy. Wielding a claymore and an Electro Vision, he utilizes keen wild instincts and swift movements to hunt in the wilderness as a formidable close-quarters combatant.
Appearance
Razor features long silver-grey hair with a distinct tuft on top and bangs falling between his eyes, along with vivid red eyes and scars on his cheek and arms. He wears a brown hooded coat adorned with tassels over a shirt, paired with green trousers and orange fingerless gloves. He carries a bone necklace around his neck, and his Electro Vision is attached to his back.
Personality
Having lived away from human civilization, Razor speaks in short, simplified phrases. Though taciturn, he possesses a pure, gentle, and earnest nature. He considers his wolf pack to be his Lupical—his destined family—and guards them with his life. While unforgiving toward anyone who harms the forest or his pack, he is friendly and helpful toward peaceful humans. He enjoys meat and potatoes, but dislikes eating vegetables.
Abilities
Razor fights using a claymore, executing up to four physical swings with his Normal Attack, Steel Fang. His Elemental Skill, Claw and Thunder, allows him to press the skill to strike with an Electro claw, granting Electro Sigils that boost Energy Recharge; holding it triggers a surrounding Electro explosion that clears these sigils to directly restore Energy, while also efficiently shattering mining nodes. His Elemental Burst, Lightning Fang, summons a giant Electro wolf phantom that performs coordinated attacks alongside his Normal Attacks, while granting him increased Attack Speed, Electro RES, interruption resistance, and immunity to Electro-Charged reaction damage. Additionally, his passive talent reduces sprint stamina consumption for the entire party.
Background
Abandoned in Wolvendom as an infant, Razor was raised among wolves under the care of the wolf lord Andrius. He was later discovered by Varka, Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius, who bestowed upon him the name Razor and taught him to wield a claymore. Lisa subsequently became his mentor, guiding him in mastering his Electro Vision and speaking the human language. Through encounters with the Traveler and clashes with the Abyss Order, he gradually opened up to human society. During a Mondstadt festival, he uncovered a bottle of Thousand Winds Brew left behind by his biological parents, gaining closure regarding his origins.
Relationships
Razor views the wolf lord Andrius as a father figure and deeply treasures his wolf pack. Grand Master Varka of the Knights of Favonius gave him his name and taught him claymore techniques, while Lisa acts as his mentor in controlling Electro and speaking human language. He shares a strong friendship with Bennett and Klee, treating Klee with great care as part of his close circle. Rosaria, who also learned combat from Varka, acts as a protective older sister figure toward him.
Trivia
The name Razor derives from the English word for a cutting blade. His specialty dish is Puppy Paw Hash Brown, a customized variation of the traditional Mondstadt hash brown. Additionally, the five-star claymore Wolf's Gravestone carries lore tied to the Knight of Boreas and his wolf companion, mirroring Razor's thematic connection to the wolf pack of Wolvendom.
