Overview

Fischl is an investigator for the Adventurers' Guild in Mondstadt, originating from Genshin Impact. Although her true name is Amy, she adopts the persona of the Prinzessin der Verurteilung (Princess of Condemnation) from the otherworldly Immernachtreich and speaks in an extravagantly theatrical manner. Accompanied by her black night raven familiar, Oz, she utilizes her ability to share vision with him to deliver swift and remarkably precise intelligence for the guild.

Appearance

Fischl features blonde hair styled into two side-up twintails secured with bat-winged black ribbons, light green eyes, and a black eyepatch over her left eye. Her outfit is designed with striking asymmetry, featuring a sleeveless black lace leotard-like dress detailed with cross stitches, a purple bowtie, and black and violet tailcoats. Her Electro Vision is attached to the back of her dress with a purple bat-wing ribbon. She wears a shoulder-length black glove on her left arm and a black and purple sleeve on her right arm. On her legs, she wears a sheer black thigh-high stocking on her right leg and a black sock held up by garter straps on her left, complemented by black high-heeled boots with light purple linings. In her alternate outfit Ein Immernachtstraum, her hair is styled in long braided locks with a tiara, her dress changes to a royal blue-violet and white scheme, and her eyes appear red.

Personality

Fischl displays a pronounced chuunibyou disposition, staying immersed in a fantasy persona filled with convoluted prose and dramatic gestures. Beneath her exaggerated persona, however, she is a genuinely kindhearted, diligent, and considerate young woman who performs her household duties and guild responsibilities conscientiously, occasionally breaking character when caught off-guard or embarrassed.

Abilities

Fischl wields a bow alongside an Electro Vision. Her sensory-sharing connection with Oz grants her exceptional reconnaissance capabilities. In combat, her Elemental Skill, Nightrider, summons Oz to automatically fire Electro magic projectiles at nearby enemies. Her Elemental Burst, Midnight Phantasmagoria, allows her to temporarily take the form of Oz to fly swiftly across the battlefield while striking foes with lightning, leaving Oz on the field afterward. Through her passive talents and constellation upgrades, she can trigger additional Electro follow-up strikes whenever field characters initiate Electro-related elemental reactions while Oz is active.

Background

Born to adventurer parents in Mondstadt who were frequently away, Amy spent much of her childhood reading books in the library, becoming deeply attached to the novel Flowers for Princess Fischl. While her parents initially encouraged her roleplay as Little Fischl, they urged her to face reality on her 14th birthday. Distressed, she wept in the library that evening, whereupon her Electro Vision manifested alongside the night raven Oz. Recommended to the Adventurers' Guild, she quickly gained acclaim as an investigator. During an expedition to the Golden Apple Archipelago, she confronted a phantom projection of her inner fears and self-doubt, ultimately embracing both her vulnerabilities and her imaginative identity.

Relationships

Oz (Ozvaldo von Hrafnavines) serves as her loyal familiar, constant companion, and deadpan translator who clarifies her grandiloquent speech for others. Bennett, a fellow adventurer, genuinely believes her backstory and admires her. She shares a close friendship with the astrologer Mona, despite frequent banter between them. Klee affectionately offered her the Golden Apple Archipelago as her domain, and Fischl places great trust in the Traveller.

Trivia

Her real name, Amy, shares its origin with one of the demon names in the Ars Goetia. Additionally, Fischl crossed over into Honkai Impact 3rd as a playable battle suit during a special collaboration event. Her English voice lines frequently integrate German vocabulary, reflecting the literary origins of her adopted identity.
