Klee

Overview

Klee is a playable character in the action role-playing game Genshin Impact. Serving as the Spark Knight of the Knights of Favonius in Mondstadt, she is an elf child recognized as one of the nation's most formidable combatants despite her youth. Known by the epithet Fleeing Sunlight, Klee was entrusted to the knights by her adventurer mother. Armed with a Pyro Vision and a talent for crafting high-potency explosives, she brings enthusiasm and occasional chaos wherever she roams, balancing her role as a knight with her innocent curiosity.

Appearance

Klee is a young elf girl with pointed ears, fair skin, blonde hair worn in low twintails with an ahoge, and bright red-orange eyes. She wears a red newsboy cap decorated with a white feather and a clover symbol, a red long-sleeved dress, dark brown gloves, white knee-high socks, and brown boots. She carries a brown leather backpack adorned with a fluffy white plush toy named Dodoco. She also has an alternate outfit titled Blossoming Starlight.

Personality

Energetic, cheerful, and extraordinarily pure-hearted, Klee possesses an innocent outlook on the world. She views the Knights of Favonius as her family and loves adventure, exploration, and blasting fish in lakes. Though she never harbors malicious intent, her fascination with explosives often leads to accidental destruction of public property, lakeshores, and forests. Consequently, she frequently finds herself sent to solitary confinement by Jean. Unfazed by punishment, she stays cheerful and often uses her confinement time to brainstorm new explosive formulas.

Abilities

Wielding a Catalyst and a Pyro Vision, Klee attacks primarily with thrown bombs. Her normal attacks toss explosive projectiles capable of breaking minerals and heavy shields, while her charged attacks launch concentrated blasts that knock back large opponents. Her Elemental Skill, Jumpy Dumpty, throws a bomb that bounces three times before splitting into eight smaller mines that can be gathered by Anemo abilities. Her Elemental Burst periodically strikes nearby enemies with automated Pyro fire. Additionally, her passives grant empowered charged attacks without stamina cost and energy recovery upon landing critical hits.

Background

Before departing on a dangerous journey, Klee's mother, the famous adventurer Alice, entrusted her daughter to the care of the Knights of Favonius and the alchemist Albedo. Raised by the knights in Mondstadt, Klee was taught survival rules written by Kaeya to keep her destructive tendencies in check. Over time, she has embarked on various expeditions, including trips to the Golden Apple Archipelago arranged by her mother, participating in festivals in Inazuma, and venturing into mysterious realms, earning warm friendships across Teyvat.

Relationships

Klee maintains close bonds with her mother Alice and considers Albedo an older brother figure. She respects Acting Grand Master Jean as a strict guardian and learns practical guidelines from Kaeya. Within Mondstadt, she is friends with Razor, Amber, and Mona. Outside Mondstadt, she has formed friendships with figures such as Yoimiya, Sangonomiya Kokomi, Collei, and Eula during various events and travels.

Trivia

Klee's unique passive utility displays the location of Mondstadt local specialties on the mini-map when she is in the active party. Her cherished bag accessory, Dodoco, is a handmade plush creature given to her by her mother Alice to ensure she never feels lonely.
