Originating as an advanced clockwork automaton created by the Fontainian researcher Alain Guillotin, she operates within the upper ranks of Snezhnaya's executive organization. Rarely appearing in public due to her intense focus on mechanical engineering and historical data gathering, she maintains a aloof presence while overseeing specialized research endeavors.

Appearance

Sandrone possesses a petite feminine physique with blue eyes and long brown hair featuring long front locks and a braided bun topped with a headband. Her outfit incorporates bare shoulders, long detached sleeves, white gloves, and white thigh-high stockings with suspenders. She is almost habitually carried or accompanied by Pulonia, a massive mechanized machine dressed in formal attire. In later iterations, her attire transitions to a fishtail skirt design.

Personality

Sandrone displays an arrogant, sharp-tongued demeanor, rarely hesitating to express disdain toward others. Beneath her abrasive exterior lies a pragmatic and surprisingly considerate nature: she detests unnecessary casualties among her subordinates and enjoys tea parties with select female colleagues. Though reluctant to express genuine emotion directly, she harbors deep attachments to her few trusted companions.

As a clockwork mechanism, Sandrone holds immense engineering capabilities and structural intelligence, operating complex combat automatons such as Pulonia and the Bosc series. Her physical shell incorporates specialized core mechanisms capable of processing colossal computation tasks when linked to global information trees or archaic power sources. She is also capable of fabricating and managing sentient humanoid puppets deployed abroad.

Created in Fontainian history by Alain Guillotin as a testament to his late sister, Sandrone evolved into an independent being following her creator's passing. Joining the Fatui Harbingers as their Seventh Executive, she dedicated centuries to technical research. During the events involving the manipulation of lunar powers in Nordkai, she aligned with allies to counter Dottore's schemes, putting her own core mechanisms on the line to safeguard her companions.

Relationships

Sandrone regards her creator, Alain Guillotin, as her foundational figure and travels alongside his construct, Pulonia. She shares a fond friendship with fellow female Harbingers Columbina, Arlecchino, and Signora through private tea gatherings. Conversely, she holds deep contempt for Dottore. She also stands as the creator of Katheryne, the receptionist automatons stationed across Teyvat.

Trivia

Her codename and associated machine's name stem from the Italian Commedia dell'arte stock characters Sandrone and his wife Pulonia, who were historically portrayed via puppetry. In-game lore establishes her as the master engineer behind the continent-wide Katheryne receptionist network.
