Her attire consists of a Meiji-era schoolgirl-style outfit featuring a white furisode top, a dark green hakama skirt tied with a golden sash bearing an anchor motif, and high-cut lace-up boots. Her naval equipment includes a smokestack with paired torpedo tubes on her back, along with deck-like side structures holding single-cannon turrets, and she holds a bow-shaped single-cannon turret in her left hand like a pistol.

Background
Representing the fourth ship of the Imperial Japanese Navy's Kamikaze class, Matsukaze joined the fleet via an event operation. Her background ties closely into naval operations alongside related destroyers from the 5th Destroyer Squadron and the 30th Destroyer Division.
Relationships
She refers to her elder sister Asakaze as 'Aneki'; despite occasional playful bickering regarding their accessories, the two share a tight bond and frequently operate together. She also maintains close relations with several Mutsuki-class destroyers, calling Uzuki 'U-chan', Satsuki 'Satchi', Minazuki 'Mina', Mikazuki 'Mika', and Yuzuki 'Yu-no-ji'.
Trivia
