Her armament includes a twin-mount 12.7cm gun held in her right hand, triple torpedo tubes strapped to her calves, and a funnel-mast backpack unit equipped with projecting carabiner-like fittings. In her left hand, she grips an anchor chain extending from her back rigging.

Uranami maintains a crisp, concise speaking style with a lower tone, conveying a disciplined yet earnest impression. Outside of combat and official duties, she readily displays a gentler, emotional side. She is capable with domestic chores such as cooking and frequently offers her favorite roasted green tea, houjicha. She deeply values her division comrades in Destroyer Division 19, particularly holding high respect for her immediate older sister ship while hoping to grow even closer over time.
