Aoi is highly diligent, serious, and strictly adheres to rules and regulations. When acting in her official capacity, she remains cool, neutral, and matter-of-fact without letting personal feelings interfere. Behind her stoic and businesslike demeanor, however, she is a considerate person who secretly worries about the well-being of others and takes steps to lighten their burdens. When confronted with direct affection or personal praise, she easily grows flustered and embarrassed. Her hobbies include reading and taking walks.

Working within the General Student Council, Aoi handles severe administrative workloads while attempting to keep council operations running smoothly. When Acting President Nanagami Rin took unauthorized actions, Aoi strictly enforced procedures that led to a vote of no confidence. However, her prior order sending personnel home inadvertently minimized casualties when an outside group staged a coup immediately after. Following the incident, she apologized to Rin, was entrusted with safeguarding their headquarters, and subsequently worked toward urban reconstruction and reinstating Rin's position. Through managing fiscal settlement events, she frequently collaborates with Sensei.
Relationships
She works closely with Nanagami Rin, whom she strictly holds accountable for policy decisions in public, yet deeply respects as a senpai in private, often worrying about Rin overworking herself. She reports to the General Student Council President as her ultimate superior. In her interactions with Sensei, she initially maintained a neutral professional boundary, but gradually built trust through shared accounting duties and gave Sensei gift chocolates on Valentine's Day. She shares a similar managerial role with Seminar's Hayase Yuuka, as both handle institutional finances.
