Overview

Ajitani Hifumi is a 16-year-old character from the game Blue Archive, developed by Nexon Games and published by Yostar. A second-year student at Trinity General School, she transitions from having no club affiliation to serving as the president of the Make-Up Work Club. Although she considers herself entirely ordinary in both appearance and academic record, her mild-mannered and accommodating nature earns her wide popularity among her peers. However, her intense passion for the mascot character Peroro frequently drives her into unexpected trouble and extraordinary situations.

Appearance

She has long blonde hair tied into low twintails and bright yellow eyes. Above her head floats a yellow halo consisting of two concentric circles adorned with wing motifs on the sides. Her standard attire comprises a white cardigan featuring a blue sailor collar and a yellow bowtie, paired with a dark blue pleated skirt, black pantyhose, and white sneakers. She carries a white backpack themed after Peroro. In her swimsuit outfit, she wears a white frilled bikini with detached sleeves, sandals, and sunglasses, often accompanied by a Crusader tank equipped with a parasol stand. During the bank heist, she wears a paper bag over her head.

Personality

Hifumi is a kind, gentle, and helpful girl who readily listens to the worries of those around her. She has low self-esteem and frequently laments her own lack of distinct qualities, yet she demonstrates profound devotion to her friends. However, her obsession with the mascot character Peroro causes her to lose her usual composure; she will willingly enter hazardous black markets or skip important examinations just to acquire rare merchandise. Despite her conventional demeanor, she possesses a peculiar tendency to get dragged into chaos and criminal misunderstandings.

Abilities

In combat, she wields an assault rifle named My Necessity, modeled after the L85A2. In her standard role, she provides support by deploying a large Peroro decoy to draw enemy fire via provocation and throwing smaller plushies to reduce enemy accuracy, while also boosting cost recovery speed. In her swimsuit variant, she operates as a Tactical Support unit, summoning the Crusader tank—referred to as Crusader-chan—to execute high-damage artillery bombardment. Additionally, she displays surprising proficiency in operating vehicles, including tanks and motorcycles.

Background

Originally an unaffiliated student, Hifumi was drawn into an unexpected series of events when her search for rare Peroro merchandise in the black market led to a chance encounter with the Abydos Foreclosure Task Force. This resulted in her being thrust into the role of Faust, the leader of the Masked Swimsuit Gang during a bank heist. Later, missing an exam to attend a Peroro event and her black market visits led to her placement in the Make-Up Work Club, where Nagisa assigned her as president. Through her club activities, she developed a deep bond with Azusa and her peers, eventually taking a firm stand to protect their friendship.

Relationships

She forms a close friendship with Shirasu Azusa, bonding deeply over their club activities and shared interest in Peroro merchandise. Kirifuji Nagisa holds high expectations for her as the club president, though a misunderstanding left Nagisa with a lasting dread of Hifumi's nervous laugh. She works closely with Urawa Hanako and Shimoe Koharu to pass their group exams. Furthermore, her chance encounter with Sunaookami Shiroko and the Abydos Foreclosure Task Force initiated an unlikely bond that led to mutual cooperation during several major incidents.

Trivia

Her identity as the paper-bag-wearing heist leader Faust is believed to reference the Guilty Gear character of the same name. The Crusader tank she operates features an onboard electric boiling vessel (teapot), referencing real-world British armored vehicle design. Additionally, the track Hifumi Daisuki, which plays during her Memorial Lobby scene, achieved widespread popularity within the game's community.
