Chesed

Overview

Chesed is a giant raid boss encountered in the game Blue Archive. Designated with the title of the arbiter who passes judgment through merciful agony, it serves as one of the prophets under Decagrammaton. Originally a production system AI operating out of a ruined munitions facility near Millennium Science School, it has become the primary manufacturer and supplier of automated military forces for Decagrammaton.

Appearance

Chesed features a central white spherical core housed inside a heavily armored, rounded exoskeleton shell. Above the main body float three distinct halos. Its visual design incorporates the astronomical symbol for Jupiter (♃).

Abilities

In combat, Chesed summons and empowers dense waves of mechanical troops, drones, and sweepers. While its outer shell remains closed, it takes minimal damage from incoming attacks; clearing four successive waves of its deployed units forces Chesed into a groggy state, opening its shell to expose the core to massive damage. When its active gauge reaches full capacity, it unleashes a catastrophic attack targeting all active front-line strikers.

Background

Originally known as the facility management AI Divi:Sion, it oversaw an automated weapons factory near Millennium. After being compromised by Decagrammaton, it was converted into the Fourth Prophet, taking the name Chesed and re-purposing its manufacturing capacity to continuously construct autonomous robotic armies.

Relationships

Chesed functions as the Fourth Prophet bound to Decagrammaton, operating alongside other prophet entities within the same network, such as Binah and Hod.

Trivia

The character's name and designation are derived from Chesed, the fourth sefira on the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. Its exclusive battle BGM is titled 'Out of Control', composed by KARUT.
