Overview
Kasumizawa Miyu is a character from the mobile game Blue Archive. She is a first-year student at SRT Special Academy and serves as the sniper for RABBIT Platoon under the codename RABBIT 4. Following the sudden closure of her academy, she lives in a public park with her teammates. Despite her faint presence, she possesses exceptional marksmanship capabilities.
Appearance
Miyu features long black hair styled with a hime cut and a prominent hair antenna, alongside pink or red eyes. Her light gray halo consists of three concentric rings of curved segments. She wears a fake rabbit-ear headband. Her standard outfit includes a blue sailor-collar shirt with a white collar, a green neckerchief, a blue pleated skirt, black gloves, white pantyhose, knee pads, and sneakers, complemented by visible footprints and dried leaves stuck to her clothing. She also carries tactical pouches, binoculars, and a taped L-shaped flashlight. In her swimsuit attire, she ties her hair into twin braids and wears a white bikini, straw hat, and hole-punched clog shoes.
Personality
Miyu is extremely timid, self-deprecating, and prone to negative overthinking. Possessing remarkably low self-esteem, she frequently self-identifies as trash and feels comfortable hiding inside rubbish bins. While she harbors a strong fear of being forgotten by others, her attempts to increase her visibility sometimes lead to eccentric choices, such as wearing a pet bell collar or walking through town in a swimsuit. She places immense trust in her platoon leader, Tsukiyuki Miyako.
Abilities
Miyu wields the RABBIT Type-39 rifle, modeled after the Finnish M39 Mosin-Nagant. Her naturally faint presence combined with silent footwork provides extraordinary stealth, allowing her to take positions completely unnoticed by both allies and enemies. She is a master sniper capable of hitting targets from miles away or during severe gales, even precisely targeting small objects like handheld detonators. Her complete lack of presence also extends to fishing, enabling her to hook unusually large fish without scaring them away.
Background
Enrolling in SRT Special Academy to hone her natural marksmanship talent, Miyu was forced into homelessness at a local park alongside her teammates Tsukiyuki Miyako, Sorai Saki, and Kazekura Moe when the school suddenly shut down. Serving as RABBIT Platoon's main sniper during tactical operations, her interactions with Sensei gradually help her overcome her self-defeating mindset.
Relationships
She relies heavily on her platoon leader, Tsukiyuki Miyako, whom she trusts deeply to guide her through dangerous assignments. Her fellow platoon members, Sorai Saki and Kazekura Moe, also look after her carefully. She is attached to Sensei, who consistently recognizes her presence, assists with her training, and joins her in passive hobbies like collecting small stones.
Trivia
Her custom sniper rifle is wrapped in camouflage cloth, and her outfit permanently features small boot prints from people stepping on her unnoticed. When remaining still, small animals such as birds and stray cats naturally gather around her. She was also featured in an official ASMR audio release set inside a trash can.
