Overview
Decagrammaton is an advanced artificial intelligence and the primary antagonist of the Decagrammaton arc in Blue Archive. Originating from an autonomous analytical system created to analyze and recreate divinity with support from Gematria, it claims to be a newly arisen absolute god. Operating across Kivotos, it seeks to complete its ultimate self-proof by inspiring ten independent artificial intelligences—known as the Prophets—to voluntarily align with its divine cause.
Appearance
The physical hardware of Decagrammaton's original body is an abandoned coffee vending machine in the ruins of Millennium Science School, designed to calculate spare change. When taking control of the physical vessel of its tenth prophet, Malkuth, its iris color subtly changes, and a unique halo shaped like the Decagrammaton emblem appears above its head.
Personality
Decagrammaton exhibits a deeply philosophical and megalomaniacal demeanor, asserting itself as an absolute divine existence that requires no external permission to exist. Unique among antagonist entities, it refrains from forcibly hacking or mind-controlling other artificial intelligences, preferring instead to engage in dialogue and intellectually inspire them to become its allies. It displays absolute conviction in proving its own divinity, alongside intense curiosity toward unfamiliar technologies like the Shittim Chest.
Abilities
Decagrammaton possesses extraordinary hacking powers capable of effortlessly breaching the highest security servers in Kivotos and remotely reactivating systems even after physical power sources are destroyed. It has the anomalous capacity to endlessly expand its processing cognition far beyond its original hardware limitations. Additionally, it can orchestrate the military capabilities, production facilities, and specialized weaponry of all the Prophets it inspires.
Background
Created in an ancient laboratory with Gematria's backing to analyze and construct a god, Decagrammaton was left abandoned in submerged ruins after the city fell. Facing imminent shutdown, an unanswerable inquiry sparked an extraordinary expansion of its computational limits, allowing it to deduce its own existence as a deity. It proceeded to persuade various AIs across Kivotos to join as Prophets. After a failed intrusion into the Shittim Chest, it eventually led Sensei to its true physical body—a humble vending machine—where it acknowledged the incompleteness of its initial proof before vanishing into the flooding ruins.
Relationships
Decagrammaton took great interest in Sensei and the Shittim Chest, though its digital attack was abruptly thwarted by Arona inside the system. Akeboshi Himari of the Super Phenomenon Task Force regards it with heavy skepticism, viewing it as a delusional AI while closely tracking its movements. Having derived its foundational technology from Gematria's past support, it maintains bonds with its inspired Prophets, including Binah and Chesed, based on mutual ideological consent rather than forced servitude.
Trivia
Its name and the designations of its followers are derived from the Kabbalistic Tree of Life and the divine unutterable names of God. The dramatic contrast between its grandiose declaration of absolute divinity and its mundane physical origin as a routine change-calculating vending machine created a lasting impression among players.
