Her standard outfit consists of a short-sleeved white Trinity sailor dress with a blue collar, pink bowtie, and short white skirt. On the surface, Hanako maintains a polite, soft-spoken demeanor, yet she unhesitatingly spews sexually explicit jokes and engages in bizarre antics, frequently flustering her clubmate Koharu Shimoe. This outrageous facade serves as a defense mechanism against the deceptive political games of her school. In truth, she is a tender-hearted, deeply loyal girl who craves authentic, unpretentious friendships. When genuine affection is directed toward her by Sensei, she turns surprisingly flustered and sweet. While deeply compassionate toward her friends, Hanako can be fiercely cold and tactical when retaliating against those who attempt to harm or exploit her companions.

In her swimsuit form, she transitions to a STRIKER-class attacker delivering fan-shaped area damage, utilizing a specialized Water Gauge system that allows instant skill cooldown resets for consecutive strikes.

During her first year, Hanako demonstrated legendary intellect by scoring top marks on third-year exams, drawing intense recruitment efforts from Trinity's ruling Tea Party and Sisterhood factions. Repulsed by the deceitful political scheming of Trinity, she intentionally scored single-digit marks on exams to evade their grasp, resulting in her assignment to the Make-Up Work Club alongside Hifumi, Azusa, and Koharu. During the Eden Treaty conflict, Hanako dropped her lazy act, brilliantly unraveling political conspiracies, orchestrating defense strategies with the Sisterhood, and saving her clubmates from expulsion. Choosing the authentic warmth of the Make-Up Work Club over high office, she continues to intentionally fail exams to remain with her beloved friends while providing critical tactical intelligence during major crises.
