Overview
Aikiyo Fuuka is a second-year student at Gehenna Academy and the dedicated president of the School Lunch Club in Blue Archive. In a school dominated by chaotic and unpredictable students, she stands out as a sensible, earnest, and deeply caring individual who takes pride in preparing meals for the entire student body. Despite suffering from severe understaffing and constant disruptions caused by surrounding troublemakers, she works tirelessly every day to provide quality food, earning a reputation as one of the most long-suffering yet reliable figures in Gehenna.
Appearance
Fuuka has red eyes and black hair styled into twintails, which are draped over two small horns protruding from her forehead. Above her head floats a red halo shaped like a triangular rice ball. In her standard attire, she wears a triangular bandana, an apron, and a tie while carrying a ladle. For New Year celebrations, she wears a traditional kimono with an updo decorated with plant-inspired hair accessories, paired with tabi socks and geta clogs. Her casual outfit features a beret, a sleeveless dress, long wavy hair, and Mary Jane shoes.
Personality
Fuuka is earnest, kind-hearted, and selfless, driven by a genuine joy in cooking and seeing others enjoy her meals. She possesses a strong sense of responsibility, often researching new recipes even during her downtime. Living in Gehenna Academy means she is perpetually dragged into chaos by disruptive students, leading to moments of sheer exhaustion where her eyes lose their light. Despite these frequent ordeals, she remains steadfast and never abandons her duties. She displays exceptional care toward Sensei, constantly worrying about their health and offering home-cooked meals.
Abilities
In battle, Fuuka serves exclusively as a back-line support unit and performs no direct attacks. Her default EX skill places a large cooking pot on the battlefield, repositioning up to four allies to consume food and restore their health. Her New Year variant functions as a buffer, with a low-cost EX skill that reduces a target ally's skill cost by half while enhancing their critical damage rate. She carries a submachine gun designated as the School Lunch Club's Defense Firearm Type A, modeled on the MP7A1 with an optical sight. Additionally, she possesses impressive driving skills, handling supply trucks and motorbikes with expert stunt maneuvers.
Background
As president of the School Lunch Club, Fuuka works under grueling conditions alongside her sole clubmate, Ushimaki Juri, whose disastrous cooking creates hazardous concoctions. During the Eden Treaty arc, Fuuka was kidnapped by the Gourmet Research Society and dragged into a chaotic chase that ended with her delivery truck submerged in a river. In the Final Chapter, she provided emergency meals at a shelter before being taken into space, where her high-speed driving inside the Ark of Atra-Hasis played a crucial role in preventing disaster. Despite repeated kidnappings and disruptions, she continuously endures these hardships for the sake of serving food to others.
Relationships
Fuuka holds deep affection for Sensei, frequently worrying about their health while preparing personal meals and bentos for them. She acts as a patient senior to her clubmate Ushimaki Juri, despite constantly dealing with Juri's catastrophic cooking results. The Gourmet Research Society, led by Kurodate Haruna, is her primary source of trouble due to their habit of constantly kidnapping her, though Haruna sincerely respects Fuuka's culinary expertise. She shares a mutual sympathy with Prefect Team head Sorasaki Hina as fellow long-suffering figures of Gehenna Academy.
Trivia
The School Lunch Club's delivery vehicle is modeled after the Horch 108 military automobile equipped with field kitchen apparatus, which famously meets disaster multiple times throughout the story. Fuuka is one of the very few playable characters across the game whose skills consist entirely of support and healing without dealing any direct damage in either her standard or New Year forms. Her exhausted reaction to the endless chaotic incidents she suffers is famously represented by the text emoticon (눈_눈).
