Overview
Neru Mikamo is a third-year student at Millennium Science School and the leader of its secret agent club, Cleaning & Clearing, in Blue Archive. Operating under the callsign Double Zero, she is universally revered across the academy as an absolute symbol of guaranteed victory. Despite her petite build and aggressive, delinquent-like exterior paired with an embroidered sukajan jacket, she stands as Millennium's undisputed top combat agent who faithfully fulfills her duties and guides her team through high-stakes covert operations.
Appearance
Neru has a petite frame, red tsurime eyes with a mole underneath, a visible fang, piercings, and short red hair featuring a single braid and a prominent ahoge. Her standard attire combines a traditional maid dress and apron with a bold embroidered sukajan jacket and red sneakers. During specific missions, she wears a red bunny leotard with high heels while keeping her jacket, or an open school uniform. She carries two submachine guns linked together by a chain.
Personality
Fierce, foul-mouthed, and easily provoked when her small height is mentioned, Neru initially comes across as a terrifying delinquent. However, she possesses a righteous moral compass, despising unfairness and constantly going out of her way to help others. She exhibits surprising talent in domestic chores and cooking. Neru also retains boyish interests, admiring cool jackets and robots, while displaying an extraordinarily stubborn competitive streak in fighting games.
Abilities
As Millennium's top agent, Neru boasts a flawless mission success rate. She dominates close-to-mid-range encounters through immense physical resilience, capable of running down building walls, enduring severe injuries, and fighting inside high-G environments. In combat, she dual-wields chain-linked submachine guns to unleash an overwhelming volume of fire. Activating her angry state grants significant boosts to her evasion, attack power, and critical strike damage, enabling rapid single-target strikes.
Background
Neru leads Cleaning & Clearing through critical operations protecting Millennium Science School. During the crisis surrounding Aris Tendou, she defied Rio Tsukatsuki's extreme directives and launched a breach into the fortress city Eridu. There, she engaged Toki Asukama in a devastating duel, overcoming advanced powered armor despite sustaining severe injuries. She subsequently led her unit during the False Sanctum invasion alongside Trinity allies, while also spearheading undercover ops on a cruise ship and during the Millennium EXPO.
Relationships
Neru commands deep trust from her Cleaning & Clearing subordinates, including Asuna Ichinose, Akane Murokasa, and Karin Kakudate, while maintaining a complex dynamic of rivalry and mentorship with Toki Asukama. She shares mutual respect with superiors Rio Tsukatsuki and Yuuka Hayase. Outside her unit, she frequents fighting games with Aris Tendou, spars fiercely with Trinity's Tsurugi Kensaki, cooperates closely with Seia Yuri during crises, and holds total confidence in Sensei.
Trivia
Her callsign Double Zero signifies absolute victory within Millennium. Her custom dual submachine guns, named Twin Dragon, are modeled after the SIG MPX and physically joined by a chain. In local fighting game arcades, she is known by the handle Little Tyrant due to her relentless requests for rematches, though she strictly adheres to fair play. Her signature sukajan jacket reflects her straightforward aesthetic taste.
