Overview

Akiizumi Momiji is a first-year student at Red Winter Federal Academy in Blue Archive. Operating within the Knowledge Liberation Front, a student organization that functions as the academy's library committee, she manages book collections. Unlike many of her peers who fight over food and snacks, Momiji dedicates her efforts to acquiring rare literature and expanding the library's catalog to satisfy her intense otaku passions.

Appearance

Standing at a petite height of 135 cm, Momiji has short green hair styled with long sidelocks reminiscent of elf ears, paired with green eyes. A halo floats above her head, and she wears a hairpin and a wristwatch. Her attire consists of a white winter coat trimmed with fur, complete with an animal-eared hood, long sleeves, white gloves, black tights, and short boots. Her signature weapon is a rocket launcher featuring a white polar bear plushie attached as its warhead.

Personality

Momiji is normally gentle, reserved, and approachable, exhibiting an intense passion for reading that causes her facial expressions to shift dynamically with the story. However, she displays an aggressive side when books are treated disrespectfully or when her reading is interrupted, showing no hesitation in resorting to firepower. While strict about maintaining order in the library by prohibiting napping, she makes exceptions for those she trusts. She is also notably persistent, repeatedly submitting procurement requests for her favorite manga even after frequent rejections.

Abilities

In battle, Momiji serves as a back-line attacker utilizing Sonic-type damage and Heavy Armor defense. Her weapon is a portable rocket launcher modeled after the RPG-7, named Library Rules No. 7. She boasts remarkably high base attack power and uses an EX skill that deals area-of-effect damage within a targeted circular zone. All of her auxiliary skills are entirely focused on enhancing her attack power and expanding her normal attack radius, allowing her to overpower groups of enemies with raw firepower.

Background

Momiji's student life at Red Winter Federal Academy revolves around her activities with the Knowledge Liberation Front. During the Revolutionary Ivan Kupala incident, she initially clashed with Cherino over the mistreatment of a rare manga, briefly supported her upon being promised access to Trinity's library, and joined a counter-rebellion when the promise was forgotten. During the Comic Doujin Story event, a disagreement over narrative interpretation led to a temporary rift with her close friend, though they later reconciled to co-produce an unofficial final volume. She has also ventured into black markets for out-of-print books and sold publications at Trinity to overcome financial troubles.

Relationships

Momiji shares a close bond with Himeki Meru, a senior student in the same club whom she assists in doujinshi production; despite frequent arguments over creative interpretations, they maintain strong mutual trust. Her relationship with Cherino is pragmatic, wavering between fierce opposition when Cherino misuses books and temporary cooperation whenever library expansion is promised. Towards the Teacher, Momiji displays deep reliance, relying on Teacher's help during hunts for rare literature and showing her warmth by arranging a resting area in the library.

Trivia

Momiji's unique weapon, Library Rules No. 7, is modeled after the RPG-7 rocket launcher, incorporating its real-world assembly structure into the skill animation. In combat, her EX skill animation is visually linked with that of Minori. Despite serving as a librarian, her initial terrain adaptability favors urban and outdoor environments rather than indoor battlefields. Additionally, she holds a notable position as a rare 2-star Sonic-attribute attacker introduced to the playable roster after a significant hiatus.
