Overview
Sorai Saki is a character from the mobile game Blue Archive by Nexon. She is a first-year student at SRT Special Academy and serves as the pointman for the RABBIT Platoon under the callsign RABBIT 2. Following the sudden closure of her academy, she resides in a public park with her squadmates while participating in protests to restore their school.
Appearance
Saki has short purple hair and blue eyes. Her signature headwear is a tactical helmet featuring rabbit-ear attachments. Her standard outfit consists of a blue-and-white serafuku paired with a yellow neckerchief, supported by body harnesses with shoulder and waist utility pouches, magazine pouches, and a stielhandgranate on her back. She wears knee pads and short boots. In her swimsuit attire, she wears a tight rash guard or wetsuit-style suit with a bucket hat adapted for her tactical ears, along with sandals.
Personality
Driven by her respect for military order and regulations, Saki is an exceptionally rigid and earnest rule-follower who always carries a tactical manual. Although she projects a tough, stubborn, and aggressive demeanor, her overly by-the-book approach often leads to inflexibility and headstrong mistakes in the field. She is easily flustered when teased or when her private notes are exposed, showing a more vulnerable side. Despite her rough exterior, she takes care of her teammates through her foraging and scavenging habits.
Abilities
In battle, Saki wields her signature RABBIT-26 light machine gun (based on the Lahti-Saloranta M/26). As a Special-class backline unit, her EX skill calls in helicopter support to deal damage and inflict stun in a targeted area, while her normal skill inflicts continuous burn damage. She also possesses field craft capabilities, including explosive ordnance disposal and diving skills. In her swimsuit alt, she acts as a Striker support unit, using signal flares to apply defense, attack, and critical resistance debuffs to enemies.
Background
After enrolling in SRT Special Academy to pursue a disciplined lifestyle, Saki was left homeless when the school was abruptly shut down. Refusing to transfer to Valkyrie Police Academy due to its relaxed rules, she joined her squadmates in occupying Kousagi Park to protest the decision. Drawing on her survival skill set, she gathers wild vegetation and scrap metal to aid the platoon's harsh living situation. Over time, she learns to trust her leader, Miyako, as they navigate various tactical operations together.
Relationships
Saki is a member of the RABBIT Platoon led by Tsukiyuki Miyako, operating alongside Kasumizawa Miyu and Kazekura Moe. While initially doubtful of Miyako's leadership abilities, she grows to rely on and trust her deeply. She holds a complex dynamic with Sensei; though frequently exasperated or defensive around them, she gradually opens up, sharing her foraging finds and seeking assistance at Schale.
Trivia
Her collectible 37mm shovel mortar featured in memory lobbies is modeled after the real-world Soviet 37mm spade mortar. During the Kivotos Halo Festival's scavenger race, she was disqualified for accidentally shouting out her assigned item (white phosphorus). She also appeared in a convenience store uniform collaboration representing Angel 24, where she still insisted on wearing her helmet.
