Misuzu assumed the position of Director on the exact day that seven high-profile delinquents, known as the Seven Prisoners, staged a major escape—an event that coincided with Sensei's arrival in Kivotos. The chaos of that day, particularly involving Kosaka Wakamo, left her deeply traumatized. She made her first appearance visiting the Public Security Bureau in an after-story following an event investigation, continuing her administrative duties behind the scenes.

Relationships

Misuzu maintains a working relationship with Ogata Kanna of the Public Security Bureau, who receives her as an honored guest. The students held within the facility affectionately refer to her as Suzu-chan. Her role connects her to high-profile figures managed by or sent to the bureau, including Shiranui Kaya, the members of FOX Squad, and Arius Squad.

The title Iron Maiden, used in the narrative segment where she first appeared, references the medieval torture device, serving as a striking contrast to her mild-mannered personality.
