Hasumi

Overview

Hanekawa Hasumi is a character from the mobile game Blue Archive. A third-year student at Trinity General School, she serves as the vice president of the Justice Task Force. Actively managing tactical command, administration, and public affairs in place of the chaotic club president, she acts as the highly dependable second-in-command who keeps the organization running smoothly.

Appearance

Hasumi features floor-length straight black hair, crimson eyes, and a facial mole below her left eye. Standing 179 cm tall with a very voluptuous figure, she possesses exceptionally large black feathered wings positioned low on her back. Above her head floats a red cross-shaped halo with mountain-like spikes. Her default outfit consists of a black long-sleeved shirt with a white sailor collar and red neckerchief, paired with a long black skirt featuring high side slits that reveal garter straps and black thigh-high stockings with high heels. Her gym outfit uses an older track jacket whose zipper cannot close over her bust. In her swimsuit outfit, she wears a highly revealing black bikini, styling her hair into buns or a low ponytail along with a leg band.

Personality

Hasumi is polite, serious, and deeply dedicated to her duties, often putting others before herself. She cares attentively for her subordinates, making her widely popular among students. Despite her composed and intellectual demeanor, she can be hot-headed when pushed. She is an avid lover of sweets and constantly tries to diet due to self-consciousness about her body size and weight, though her appetite frequently wins out. Due to past diplomatic friction, she holds a intense, irrational distaste for anything originating from Gehenna Academy.

Abilities

Hasumi wields a bolt-action sniper rifle named Impalement. She is a master marksman who delivers exceptionally precise shots without relying on a scope, trusting her honed instincts and constant practice. Beyond long-range marksmanship, she utilizes her physical stature effectively in close-quarters combat. As tactical commander of the Justice Task Force, she also excels at managing battlefield operations and directing allies.

Background

Hasumi works tirelessly as Trinity's representative in major school affairs. During preparations for the Eden Treaty, a disastrous preliminary meeting with Gehenna's leadership sparked a personal grudge that influenced diplomatic relations. When the signing ceremony was attacked by Arius forces, she fought valiantly alongside her club to protect her allies, despite sustaining heavy injuries. She continuously supports Trinity behind the scenes during major inter-school events like the Kivotos Halo Festival.

Relationships

She serves as both the essential supervisor and most trusted confidante to club president Tsurugi Kensaki, accurately interpreting Tsurugi's underlying intentions. She acts as a nurturing senior to junior members like Koharu Shimoe, Mashiro Shizuyama, and Ichika Nakamasa. She shares a long-standing rivalry and friendship with Mine Aomori over confections, and frequently interacts with Tea Party host Nagisa Kirifuji, with whom she argues about the proper way to brew milk tea.

Trivia

Her sniper rifle is modeled after the British P14 / M1917 Enfield rifle. She keeps a detailed personal notebook filled with information about her club members to ensure their well-being. During the initial run of the 'Get Set Go!' event, a game emergency maintenance compensation famously awarded all players enough Elephs to instantly fully upgrade her Track alternate form.
