Overview
A character appearing in "Blue Archive." She is a first-year student at Millennium Science School and a core member of the Engineering Club. Although quiet and socially awkward, she possesses outstanding innate engineering talent and serves as a highly skilled inventor.
Appearance
She has long black hair styled in low twin-tails (a high ponytail in her cheerleader outfit), gray eyes, dog ears, and a dog tail. She wears goggles on her head. Her golden-yellow halo consists of three concentric circles crossed by a diagonal line, similar to a prohibition mark. She stands 154cm tall. Her primary attire is revealing, featuring a jacket worn half-off the shoulders, strap tops, short shorts, fishnet stockings, and short boots. In her cheerleading outfit, she wears a self-made cheerleader dress, sneakers, tattoo stickers, and wristbands, carrying her mortar inside a caddy bag.
Personality
Reserved and soft-spoken, she is somewhat introverted and struggles with social communication. Despite her quiet nature, she is deeply enthusiastic about mechanics and enjoys active hobbies like shopping and costume play. She exhibits a persistent habit of over-engineering her inventions by adding odd features such as Bluetooth capability, NFC functions, or self-destruct mechanisms. While usually cool, wearing her cheerleader outfit makes her visibly shy, largely due to her own strict engineering standards regarding its craft quality.
Abilities
She operates her signature 60mm mortar, "Fancy Light," to deliver long-range explosive attacks. Her combat capabilities include covering multiple circular target zones with mortar fire and executing concentrated bombardments against low-health enemies, while boosting critical damage stats for both herself and her squad. Outside of combat, she is an expert mechanic who can repair electronic devices, modify complex machinery, and construct protective clothing with flameproof, blastproof, and waterproof properties.
Background
Operating within Millennium Science School's Engineering Club, she invents and repairs equipment alongside Shiraishi Utaha and Tomimi Kotori. During the main story's Paean of Clockwork Flower chapter, she provided mortar cover for her teammates, and during the final chapter, she helped prepare functional uniforms for the Ark bridge crew. Through various side events, she regularly interacts with Sensei by repairing phones, creating fireworks units that launched a missile into the Millennium Tower, inventing sleep-aiding audio devices, and sewing custom cheerleading outfits for the Halo Festival.
Relationships
She works closely under her club leader, Shiraishi Utaha, alongside fellow Engineering Club member Tomimi Kotori. She also interacts with members of the Game Development Department, such as Hanaoka Yuzu, Tendou Aris, Saiba Midori, and Saiba Momoi. She shares a deeply trusting relationship with Sensei, frequently offering maintenance services for their gear, testing her strange inventions on them, and sharing quiet moments during late-night visits.
Trivia
Her signature mortar, "Fancy Light," is modeled after the real-world Czech LRM vz. 99 ANTOS 60mm mortar. Born on April 2, her birthday marks the earliest possible birthdate in a Japanese academic year. She was also featured wearing a jirai-kei (mine-type) outfit in episode 272 of the official short comic series.
