Appearance
Umika features clear brown eyes and gradient hair transitioning from pale yellow-green to grey, bound in long twintails, complemented by dog ears and a floating halo. Her attire is a Japanese-style maid uniform composed of a blue long-sleeved kimono underneath a white frilled apron with yellow ribbons, paired with traditional tabi socks and wooden geta clogs. She carries a fixed-stock assault rifle designated as Festival's Heat.
Personality
Normally polite, mild-mannered, and well-behaved, Umika is often viewed as a quiet beauty when silent. However, she is a passionate festival enthusiast at heart, becoming hyperactive and talkative whenever the subject arises. Despite her dedication, she has low self-confidence and struggles under high pressure, panicking when unexpected setbacks disrupt her meticulous plans. She shows strong loyalty and reliance toward those she respects.
Abilities
In combat, Umika serves as a Mystic-attribute Striker equipped with Special Armor. Her EX Skill deploys up to five firework launchers to designated locations on the battlefield. Rather than attacking autonomously, these turrets execute synchronized firework support strikes whenever Umika achieves a set number of regular attacks, which also grants temporary attack boosts. Upgrading her unique weapon enhances her effectiveness in outdoor terrain.
Background
Growing up in an isolated rural community with minimal entertainment, Umika found immense joy in the infrequent local festivals, which inspired her lifelong passion. After enrolling at Hyakkiyako Alliance Academy, she joined the Festival Operations Department to help organize events. She continuously contributes to various school events, field trips, and regional promotions, developing her administrative skills despite her initial inexperience.
Relationships
She works closely under Kawawa Shizuko, the head of the Festival Operations Department, whom she admiringly refers to as her president. She shares daily operational duties alongside her fellow member Asahina Fina. Through joint school activities, she has also established friendly ties with students from other academies, such as Yozakura Kirara and Hatami Erika.
Trivia
Her primary firearm is modeled after the Japanese Howa Type 89 assault rifle, specifically rendered with a fixed stock frame and capable of three-round burst fire. She initially appeared as a non-playable story character in early events before becoming fully playable.
